It's a simple little tool, but does the job it's meant to do. Sometimes the seeds don't always come completely out, but I think that's due to the fruit as much as anything. Was a touch confusing to put together at first, but made sense once I finally figured it out, lol. #blondemonent ?It's easy to clean after, so all around I think it's worth the money.
This is all plastic. You have to push very hard to put the cherries. Some of the pits don’t get pushed all the way out.
I purchase this because it’s a safety hazard for babies to have cherry with seeds and let’s be honest it is so difficult to get the cherry seeds out without making a “crime scene”. This is a product that is simple and easy. Gets the seed out and easy to clean as well. 10/10
I have been picking cherries for a local orchard for many years, and usually make cherry almond jam afterward. it always took such a long time to pit the cherries by hand. Last year i borrowed a cherry pitter from a friend. It speeded things up so much, but it only did one cherry at a time. I was thrilled to find this pitter that could do 6 at once. A real time saver, and very easy to use.
This isn't worth the trouble. By the time you get them all situated in their little holes and mash down and then pick out all the seeds because the seeds don't fall into the cup , you can do the same amount of cherries using the one at a time pitter.
Ok it's functional for the most part,just have to make sure the pits fall off
