Handy But Mine Arrived Chipped
Let's get this out of the way first - my container arrived chipped in two places on the back of the lid. Not a deal breaker because you can't see the chips unless you are looking for them. I saw them when I opened the package and started to attach the lid to the base. As a Vine reviewer, I cannot return for a replacement so I can't speak to how the vendor would have handled that request. It may have been a simple replacement.Ok, now that that's out of the way, on to the usefulness of the set.It is sturdy, no funny plastic smells, comes with two refillable ice packs, and several different serving utensils. I really appreciate the refillable ice packs – I would rather put water in them than use the ones that have that “blue goo” in them. The utensils are handy but not very durable (again, not a deal breaker – I have metal ones I use), and if you store them in the mesh pouch on the inside bag lid, you cannot zip the bag closed.The thing I really love about this is the carrying case. I am always elected to bring a tossed salad to family functions. We have several food issues in my family so I can’t just toss all the veggies in a bowl of lettuce. I have been putting each item (tomatoes, olives, onions, etc) in separate Tupperware type containers and hauling all those containers in a larger container...you get the picture.I love that this set allows me to keep all the bits and parts of the salad separated and then put the entire thing (on ice!) into this sturdy, well-made carrying case. Deal changer for sure!The bag comes with a rubber band that is supposed to hold the lid open if you use the tray while it is inside the bag (see video). If the elastic slips, the lid falls closed. Personally, I just remove the try from the bag and place it on the counter.The trays are a nice size. While it will most likely not hold an entire cucumber, they hold enough for several people to make a nice appetizer salad. The metal keeps cold longer than plastic would, and the ice packs will keep the contents chilled through dinner and beyond.The price (just under $40) is fair, especially considering the cost of the food these containers keep fresh!I am looking forward to using this at every family gathering and may even need to purchase a second one. I would not hesitate to gift this for a shower or housewarming gift.

I'm very happy with this condiment caddy! It is very well made. I love that the compartments are made of stainless steel and are food safe. The ice packs are great. They have a cap that is easy to pull off but securely keeps the water inside. I love that it brings five sporks as well as two tongs to make it easier to grab the food. It is very easy to clean as well. :-)
