All the mugs are identical, except for the year and birthdate. From age 30 (1996) to age 110 (1916)!The mug is 3.75 inches tall and 3.15 inches in diameter, excluding the handle. It’s an 11-ounce mug, and it comfortably holds 10-11 ounces of water. It overflows very slightly at 12 ounces. My average size female hand fits and grips the handle comfortably. I looked and felt for imperfections, and found none. The mug itself is ceramic, is good quality, and should last a long time. It’s microwave and dishwasher-safe on the top rack.The mug is white on the outside, with colorful and well-done graphics on both sides. Right-handers will see “43 & Fabulous” and a few sprigs of flowers as they take their first sip. And those who favor their left hand will see “Making the World a Better Place since 1983” and a few more flower sprigs. Each side also has a butterfly flitting around. The images are simple and uplifting, without being overdone. The inside and the handle are both black.It’s hard to know how durable the graphics on this mug are. My best guess is over a decade if hand washed, but it’s a guess. I have many decorative mugs of similar size and weight. Some of them date back a few decades, and are still in perfect condition. But they’re not used very often. It's within the weight range of similar-size decorative mugs that I own, but weighs about 2 ounces less than the heavier plain mugs that I use every day. That doesn't seem like much, but I can clearly feel the difference when I hold one in each hand. That might make a difference for someone without a lot of hand strength, such as many elderly people.I plan to give this mug as a gift to a coffee drinker. I’m 100% sure they’ll appreciate it, partly because of the lovely design and sentiments. But also because most of us can always use another mug.I like this mug a lot. It’s uplifting, well-made, and a good value. Most of all, I like that so many ages and dates are available, so it makes a great “go-to” birthday gift. No quibbles – 5 stars.

Cute self-affirming birthday mug!
I decided to order this for my birthday as a little self-affirmation gift. It may be silly, but it's super cute, I like it, & it's a good reminder to be a bit kinder to myself.It delivered quickly & was packaged in thick styrofoam to keep it from breaking. It's easy to find mugs for the big birthdays like 21, 30, 50, & such, but not so much for the "odd" birthdays/birth years.
