Excellent packaging! If this is a gift..your all set just wrap it up because the box it comes in is beautiful. Nice fitting sheath seems like it's kydex lined with felt. Solid cleaver and feels well made. Gorgeous handle and Damascus pattern. Almost too good looking to use but I won't just look at it..gonna make dinner with it tonight.

Best chef knives on Amazon hands down
This is a very fancy looking knife. Almost looks like you should hang it on a wall instead of using it. Lots of detailing on the blade and handle. It’s also packaged very nicely and comes with a little holding sleeve to use when you’re not using the knife.It’s also very hefty. If you’re used to smaller knives, it’ll take some getting used to wielding the weight.Is it sharper? I’m not sure. I didn’t notice it being any easier to chop the peppers, onions, or cilantro I tried first, but then again we regularly sharpen the knives in our house. It wasn’t any more difficult either, so i guess that’s a good thing. The true test will be over time as I use it on more things and if the sharpness holds up.I’m not a knife expert, but if you’re looking for a high end knife, this one is pretty good.
I got this for my wife and we're both very happy. I think it looks awesome (it's really a piece of art in and of itself) and she is happy with it as a kitchen tool. Good weight, balance, blade is sharp and does what it needs to do in the kitchen great. They put clear effort into making the packaging look almost as good as the knife too.
