Looks perfect

I generally hate reading reviews from people who haven't used the product. However, these are "just" cookie cutters. It's the configuration and structure that count. That part is excellent. They are similar to a set from my much-loved Williams Sonoma, but cost about a quarter of the price. I didn't get a chance to make the cookies this year. I did pull them out, examine them, stack them up as the cookies would go, etc., and if they don't turn out well, it won't be the cookie cutter's fault.

Good cutters

These are nice cutters, solid. I haven't assembled a whole tree yet, but I have done smaller ones. A thin coating of royal icing makes the tree look nice. They're also great for individual snowflake cookies.

Not enough cutters for the picture and a bit mis-shaped

This came with no instructions or helpful tips. If you want a tree like the picture - you have to use the same size cutter multiple times I'm guessing. otherwise they were well made. it's a bit of a struggle to get them back in the box since they are not exactly shaped correctly.

They do the trick

These cookie cutters are quite thin, but they still hold their shape well, and best of all they nest inside of eachother for storing. Note that you will need to make atleast 2 of each size to get a tree that looks like the one pictured unless your cookies are very thick. I'm happy with these cookie cutters.

Pretty sturdy cutters - NOT JUST For winter/ Christmas - FLOWER potential too!

This set has great potential for FUN treats ... Built up as a tree or many other uses too...For SURE you'll want to use a cookie dough that's minimally sticky. These have very fine detailed shapes - many tight corners for dough to get stuck in - but drier dough - CHILLED a good idea too - don't skimp on the flour dusting! will make it easier. Also - remember most "imperfections" will be totally lost in a complete tree! (You may even like it BETTER with a FEW "mistakes" included - especially if you have some kids helping .... It WILL add to the charm!Speaking of kids ... make EXTRAS for sure! SOME people will assume that cookies are for EATING (right away!)I'm thinking for a more durable tree - I'll make HOLES in the middles of all but the top cookie(s) so I can make a "stand" with a flat base and a piece of dowel (hmm ... maybe threaded rod and nuts/washers instead of dowel! more of an investment - but solid and easier to take apart/re-assemble next year...) SECURELY attach whatever the "pole" is to that base - so cookies can be stacked like "beads on a string". This should help for trees that need to GO PLACES especially! (That may be CHEATING for traditionalists - but ... AN OPTION for ... happy amateurs!)LOVE that these cutters ALL STACK together - but they ARE a TIGHT FIT - even brand new. Unless you are the most cautious cookie cutter in the world - there's a good chance they may not be as perfect of a fit after a few uses. Occurred to me that WORST case is not that bad... You might need a DOUBLE tall stack instead of all cutters in one layer. Just put them back together as "evens and odds" - that should give you enough wiggle room if any get slightly out of shape with use.Make loose snowflake cookies would be fun too - poke holes for hanging them before baking maybe? Get the kids going with decorating - no 2 are alike!Loose Poinsettias would be festive - and colorful spring flowers too...I bet YOU will think of many other options when you SEE these in person too.BIG fun in a SMALL package!
