Cute mug, but smaller than advertised
I love a good affirmation mug, and the fact that this one is pink makes it even better. The color leans more cool-toned than warm. The cup has a nice weight to it and isn’t too thick or too thin, so it feels comfortable in the hand.One thing to note is that it does not hold the full 16oz as advertised. I filled a measuring cup with 16oz of water and poured it in, and it overflowed. In actual use, it feels much more like a 12 oz mug. I also somehow thought the design was on both sides because one of the listing photos show two cups with different sayings. Maybe I just needed my morning coffee, but the design is only on one side. If you’re right-handed, you’ll always see the design as you drink. If you’re left-handed, the side facing you will be blank, which might matter depending on how you like your mugs.Overall, it is a cute, affirming cup with a nice feel, I just wish it held the full amount. I still really want the “I’m So Lucky” version. This would make a great gift.

this is so cute, and the message is very inspirational
I'm not trying to complain, but I thought the color would be brighter, and instead it kind of looks a little dull. While I understand this is supposed to be a dusty pink, I feel it comes off looking much brighter in the picture than it does in real life. The actual color is more muted and darker than expected.Do I love the lettering and message? Absolutely! The text is about not giving up on your goals and having the drive to pursue what you want, and I think we all need little reminders like that.In terms of the material, I love ceramic mugs, and I have two grey ones and two black and white, so I felt a touch of color was in order. I love that it doesn't feel too big, which some of my existing mugs sometimes feel like.I worry a little about how well this will withstand going in the dishwasher, and so I've been handwashing it because I prefer not to take the risk and ruin it.
