Our Silicone Air Drying Dish Mat

This Dish Drying Mat is definitely non-slip and easy to keep clean. It's made of silicone. So, those qualities are as expected. As far as having a slope that is self-draining, we haven't really found that to be true. Our countertop is made of laminated formica. Our stainless steel sink has a raised edge all along its boarder. Perhaps if we had a sink without this raised edge, the dish drying mat would drain better? I'm not sure. As it is, most of the water that drains from the dishes, through our wire dish rack, just sits on the silicone mat. From there, the water eventually evaporates.

This silicone dish drying mat is quite nice. However, I did not measure accurately for my space. It fits in the area of my sink, but it’s half the size of what I usually use. It’s perfect if you are limited on space, but I have a large countertop and need something bigger because this doesn’t fit a lot of dishes on it.I won’t take away any stars for the size because I think it is perfect for a smaller area. It’s made quite well with deep grooves and a slope that allows water to drain into the sink. It doesn’t slide around on my counter, also. There is a hole in the corner in case you want to hang it to dry. It’s easy to keep clean too. Overall, I think this is a great option for smaller spaces.
