After some research, I decided to get this pot from Circulon as I had bought some other Circulon cookware which was good quality. This was to replace other pots which the non-stick coating had begun to degrade and peel off. I needed a good 2 qt capacity pot as the one I had got tossed cause the non-stick coating had begun to peel. Having now used this pot numerous times for cooking vegetables, rice, various dishes, it's excellent. It's not heavy and the quality is excellent. It heats evenly and fairly quickly, there are no scratches nor dings in the coating, inside or outside. It's still as non-stick as when it was new. I am impressed at how it performs. Clean up is a cinch, no sticking. Just out of habit, I don't use metal utensils with any of my non-stick pans. I have plenty of plastic and wooden cooking utensils. I handwash all my non-stick as I heard that dishwashers are unnecessarily harsh on the coating. Besides they are so easy to wash it's no hassle. Anyway this is a pot I would recommend for anyone looking for a good non-stick pot. It performs better than several other brands I have tried in the past. Good value for the money!
I bought this to replace one of my stainless steel pans and I took a guess on how big I was replacing and this came smaller than I was thinking that it would be. That being said it also was taller than the other one so it works great for making gravy and soups for One. I live alone and it washes up with ease. It is textured on the inside, but I wasn’t sure if that was gonna cause cleaning issues but not at all. I wait for it to cool down and then I run it under hot water and spray it out wipe it out and it is clean and ready to go the next time I need it.
The quality is great! The no scratch and non stick coating work great!
This is a great pan I’ve had mine for several years and it has held up very well. Very easy to clean. I highly recommend it.
Good pan, cleans easily. The strainer lid is nice but the pan is heavy so it is difficult to turn on side to drain. Time will tell haw long the cladding will last.
Or rotini or rigatoni or shell pasta. The 3-quart overall capacity handles 2 quarts of water and a half-pound of most short cuts of pasta. I haven't tried cooking egg noodles in it due to their greater overall physical volume which might cause an overflow, but everything else, including farfalle and elbow mac cook up just fine. The straining lid means you won't have to wash a colander or figure out how to fit it in the dishwasher.Spaghetti? Well, that's why I also have its 8-quart ScratchDefense big brother.
