I love these !! They are sturdy and holds 18 large or jumbo eggs. Very strong n easy to clean. I wish they were cheaper so I can buy more. I usually buy a box (7.5 dozen) eggs from Sam’s club. I wish they weren’t as tall so I can stack more but they are good. I’ll purchase again when they go on sale.
I bought these egg trays, so I could buy the 30 carton eggs in the grocery store, as that is the least expensive price per egg and best savings. We eat eggs for breakfast every morning. However, the 30 count eggs come in cardboard slip out containers that are impractical to store in the refrigerator. So, I bought these plastic containers that efficiently organize and store the eggs. Plus, I can recycle the cardboard containers which is better than buying a dozen eggs in styrofoam containers. Better for the environment making the switch, and we are getting a better price on eggs. Win-win decision! Excellent quality containers and stackable. We’ll get our money back on these containers pretty quickly now that we’re buying eggs in bulk.
I buy eggs from a friend (who has the chickens I wish I could but have no patience nor skill for) and these keepers are sturdy...haven't broken one egg in transport yet! It's true, they are hard to open, but once you figure it out, no problem! You have to pull down on the larger piece with one hand, while using the other hand to pull the curved handle up. They clean nicely and stack well. So glad I found these!
I really love these egg trays. A lot of people complain about getting them open and I struggled with that for sometime too. Now I just keep a spoon right next to the container in the fridge and that easily pops it open. It is nice that they are so secure even though they’re a little tricky to open. This is one of the better quality items I have purchased for this price. I highly recommend them.
