I’ve been using this clear PVC table cover protector for almost a year now, and it has been an absolute lifesaver in my kitchen. My countertops are covered with contact paper, and I needed extra protection from hot pans and dishes. This product delivered in every way:Sturdy & Durable: The PVC material holds up really well. After nearly a year of use, it’s still in great shape (aside from one mishap—more on that below).Heat Resistance: It provides good heat resistance for everyday use. I’ve placed warm dishes and pans on it without any damage to my countertops. It’s essential for anyone wanting to protect surfaces that can’t handle high heat.Easy to Customize: I bought the longer size (16x60 inches) and cut it into two pieces. This way, I could protect multiple areas in my kitchen at once. It’s flexible and simple to trim to your exact needs.Non-Slip & Waterproof: The cover stays in place quite well, and spills wipe off easily, making kitchen cleanup a breeze.Accidental Melt—My Fault! I did manage to melt part of one piece by placing a very hot appliance (my Betty Crocker baker) on it without thinking. Totally my own error, but it shows that extremely high, direct heat can damage the PVC if you’re not careful. Despite that, I’m so pleased with its overall performance that I’m buying a new one.Clarity: The transparency is fantastic—it doesn’t dull or warp the look of what’s underneath, so your countertop or table still looks great.Value for the Money: This protector is priced fairly, especially given how much wear and tear it can handle. Thinner than shown in the picture. But it still works for my dining. Because of the thin material, it sticks in weird spots and creates varied bubbles which doesn’t look very pretty. It easier to clean than the vinyl textured table cloths and cloth table cloths, which is why I got it. It’ll stay on my table until I find something better.
