This is perfect for what I needed it for. I wanted a heavier canvas for books at the library and schools I work at and this is great for that. It’s heavy duty and I love that it can cinch closed at the top. I wish they had a darker color but I still love this.
good size and material, and surprisingly durable ! i wash them every day as i use them as wet bags for cloth diapers (fantastic btw would recommend this method) and they haven't shown any signs of wear or stainingi do hope the material is actually organic cotton .. the tag says 100% cotton for material but either way they serve their purpose, reasonably priced, and NOT MADE IN CHINA :D
These bags are just what I needed!No more spilling out of the bag, I can close the top, so if it turns over when I'm driving, everything doesn't come flying out!Very durability, love the strap length, can carry on my shoulder, very glad I found these

These bags a strong and hold a lot.
The bag quality is excellent. It feels great and the handle stitching can hold a lot of weight. It's a bit bigger than a large paper bag (see photos), but fits well in the self checkout areas.The handle is a little longer than I'd like it to be. Maybe being 5' 6" is just slightly short for the bag. Holding the handles normally, the bag remains about half an inch over the ground, so it bumps periodically. When I loop my hand around the strap it's enough to keep it above the ground, but anyone shorter than me will definitely have trouble.The bag only sits upright in the same way and fabric bag does, where you put the heavy, flat things on the bottom. If you mix items of different shapes, it'll tip the same way any bag does.Overall the bag is nice, but not any different from other bags. Being able to cynch the top is fine, but I don't see it getting much use.
I love this tote. I've wanted a good canvas tote for a while and this is perfect.PROSThe tote is made from a nice canvas fabric that is well designed and stitched. The handles are thick and padded making the bag easy to carry. And I love the extra material that extends to secure the items inside.CONS/CAVEATWhen I first received the bag, it had a strong, unpleasant smell - similar to stinky cheese. I turned the bag inside out and let it sit in front of an open window overnight. By morning, the smell was gone. So if you plan to use it for food or clothes, give yourself an extra day or two to let it air out before using.This is more of an alert rather than a con, and may not be a problem at all but rather something to be aware of. But, when I feel the spot where the handle is sewn into the fabric, I worry, that there isn't enough extra handle material inside at the seam. While the handles are a good, strong quality, I wonder if the handles will be able to handle the stress if the bag is overloaded with heavy items. The bag itself will do fine. But I would be careful if overloading with breakables until you are certain it can handle the stress/ weight.SUMMARYThis is a wonderful bag and I plan to use it and love it for a long time.
