The double wall glass mugs are perfect for hot drinks etc. This is my second purchase and I went with this broad base design because I broke my last two ‘round’ bottom mugs. The round bottom mugs are easier to tip over. IF YOU do drop and break them, the glass really shatters..to be expected. But if you have a firmer broad base, such as these..tipping over is less likely. Highly recommend them and use them all the time.
The design of these coffee mugs just makes so much sense for several reasons.1) I love making layered drinks, such as a latte macchiato. Since they’re made of glass, you can see through them and actually see the color of your coffee and the layers of the drink.2) They won’t burn your hands. Since they are double-walled with an insulating air gap in between, the outside of the mug doesn’t get hot like a traditional coffee mug. Your coffee also will stay warmer longer for this same reason.3) They have a flat, wide base which helps prevent spills. Standard coffee mugs are very easy to knock over since they typically have a small base and get wider at the top.4) They just look cool. I get compliments every time a guest of mine uses them.
Great product that you could totally live without......but why would you want to deny yourself this little luxury? There are practicality factors, in that the coffee/espresso will remain hotter because of the double wall construction. Even with steaming hot liquids, the outside of the cup is only a little warm. The thick handle is also easy to hold. The lab quality glass means the it is dishwasher and microwave safe. While these are great features, the reason that I enjoy these mugs is how visually appealing drinking a coffee or latte from a crystal clear hand blown glass artwork can be. One of life's little pleasures that you may not have considered.

Love the shape and feel of it. Handle has a good thickness and the ease of use is great. I’ve been using this mug for a while now and we drink coffee 3 to 4 times a day so the durability is great. Dishwasher safe. Microwave safe too. Capacity of it also good. Perfect size for my cappuccino or Americano .
Based on reviews I almost didn’t order these because there are reviews saying water gets between the walls. For anyone concerned about this, don’t be. It does NOT happen. We put these in the dishwasher constantly and never had an issue. Maybe if you submerge these in water you might get water between the walls, but even then… it would dry out. These cups are great, such an upgrade from our old glass mugs. Would highly recommend.
The are double insulated and you don't get no heat or cold from the cups even in glass. They are the perfect size for a espresso cold brew
