Strong, but not that strong

Bought a pair 8 months ago. One has broken, but honestly I like them so much better than regular glasses since they keep my drink cold and they are glass rather than plastic, I don't mind too much.Like the Bodum brand I bought in the past they tend to break for me by dispensing ice from the refrigerator directly into them, sort of a reverse lottery, if the ice lands in it wrong, it can break. Crushed ice is safer, or adding liquid before dispensing the ice helps. I forget sometimes to handle gently. I use these daily though, so one breaking after 8 months isn't so bad. I do wish they were slightly thicker to prevent that though.

Buy it you wont regret it

These are the glass of the dinner table. We cant use the large tumblers forever. Let's put glasses on the dinner table again. These looks lovely and I love to put a lovely glass of ice tea on the table and didn't get hot. I love them! I will keep buying more until I have a full set of 12 which I think is a great number for a family of 12.

Exceeded expectation

Bought on a whim. Not a name brand, but works well and looks nice. Convienient for hot(cool to touch) and cold drinks (does not sweat) , seems to be genuine borosilicate glass i.e. can tolerate boiling water/hot coffee with out breaking. Really light weight, looks like it will break easily if dropped. Smooth easy to clean, made of glass so does not have plastic taste. Good value. Claims to be microwavable, but that's probably pushing it. Seems fragile ( hand wash only).

Love these glasses, even if slightly fragile - and customer service is topnotch!

I thought I left a review for these glasses. But I love the 13.5 ounce glasses so much - because they accommodate my Nespresso large pods of coffee. Also I just love the design, the feel, the look. I've used them several months, and had no problems. I broke one, but it was my fault. Another cracked yesterday, but it didn't make sense, I figured it must be "structural weakness," so I contacted the company, and they responded quickly and empathetically. In 2022, that means A LOT. But it's the glasses themselves that I love. I don't usually LOVE to pay $11 a cup, but these cups are special. (I guess it's obvious that, because they are double-walled, they retain the heat!

Fragile and Poor Quality

One cup cracked after less than five uses, even though I handled it carefully with no drops or pressure. I only noticed the crack while washing it. The glass seems very weak and not durable at all — disappointing quality.
