Happy with his purchase! Boils the water quickly, looks very nice and sleek, and has an easy interface to set the temperature and see the current temperature of the water. Has a whole temperature option as well which is nice for multiple guests wanting refills or multiple servings* The words are on a sticker that peels off, so all you will see is the four gold buttons with no words once these sticker is peeled

This is a great kettle. It heats quickly and maintains temperature when you set it to hold. A little pricey, but seems to be worth the money. I like the display, in particular.

This kettle works as advertised. It is very fast, and is a nice change from my old-fashioned kettle, that took long enough for me to get dressed mornings before the water boiled. Also, for pour-over coffee fans, it is a bit easier to pour the water over the coffee at a consistent and slow rate, due to the long, thin goose-neck spout. If it makes my morning coffee faster and easier, then what could be wrong with that?BTW, the kettle does allow one to adjust the targeted water temperature over a wide range of degrees, up to 212. This is great for a variety of grinds and roasts of coffees, which supposedly benefit from this ability to dial in the appropriate temperature. I found that Googling 'what is the optimum temp for' a particular grind and roast of the coffee I'm making, yields the ideal temp for it. However, whether or not the coffee would taste any different at some other temperature water, I can't say. I have no desire to test it. LOL. But for tea bags, use 212 degrees. That's all I know.
A big disappointment. I have been wanting this beautiful kettle for awhile now and finally decided to purchase for myself for my birthday. The first one arrived with a defect. Product had a faulty circuit and would not work. I ordered a replacement item and the second kettle that arrived was the wrong color and style. I have returned both kettles and I am STILL awaiting the refund. For this price I expect much better. I really loved the design but after two disappointments I am not ready to had over more money to try for a third one.
