Exceptional Quality and Flavor: A Smoked Old Fashioned Success!

I typically do not leave many reviews but I was very impressed with this product. I'm no bartender, but my first Smoked Old Fashioned was outstanding! The Cherry Wood chips added an amazing smoky flavor to my go to Buffalo Trace. I was amazed with the presentation and quality of the items in the kit. I feel like I just gave myself a premium gift. I'm looking forward to impressing my boys this weekend with my new found mixing skills and trying some different flavors. I am always looking for ways to mix up a whiskey concoction. The kit overall has fantastic quality. It’s one of those party things that immediately attracts a crowd, I’m not exaggerating when I say everyone wanted to try it.The torch feels super high end, it has 4 burners so it does the job quickly and makes a ton of smoke!Loved that the kit came with a few drink recipes for beginners, or even if you want to try a drink you’ve never made before.Pretty straight forward and easy to use. Basic cocktail smoker with two wood types.

This cocktail smoker does its job, it gets smoke into a glass easily. It’s a pretty simple process, put some wood chips in the metal mesh cup, set the wood smoker on top of the glass and hit the wood chips with the torch. Smoke is produced right away and goes directly into the glass. The smoker does have some grooves in it that allow some smoke to escape so you can expect to get some smoke into the room when doing this. I guess if you did a lot of glasses, you might get too much smoke in the room and set off the smoke alarms. At least that was my fear as I was doing this and watched the smoke pouring out the sides. I’m not positive why the grooves are there but probably to prevent too much smoke going into the glass and pushing the smoker off the top.The torch is a nice small size, very easy to fill and light, and produces a really good flame. I think that is the best part of this kit, the torch produces some great flame. I only got two types of wood chips, oak, and hickory but there are a lot of them. There was a shot glass and a stirrer included which is always nice to have extras of, but I would have rather had more wood types then the accessories.

Great Product!

I bought this as a Christmas gift and he loved it. We made Old Fashions and the flavor, the smoke, everything was perfect. The torch is also quality and works very well. He’s sort of a bougie whiskey and cigar connoisseur so I was a little worried about how he would like it but he really loved it and we had fun making the cocktails. It really makes a great gift.
