You can tell immediately that this is a good quality. It is well made and the latch is easy to use. The little scoop and scoop holder are great. I wish the “coffee” label on the top could be easily swapped out because I don’t use it for coffee but I don’t think it can be changed. That’s a small detail that could just have guests confused but otherwise I don’t mind. It’s functional and built to last.
These containers are great for storage. I bought it to store coffee. It will hold 2 lbs of coffee with out a problem. The seal is great on these and so easy to use. I use it for coffee and I never smell the coffee until I open it.The negative for me is the dail on the top. I do not use it. But I am sure there are plenty of people that do use it.
Perfect size for 2lbs of coffee beans, it really keeps them fresh, everytime you open it you get hit with the lovely aroma of coffee.
Husband travels abroad and returns home with a need for a contraption that makes fancy coffee. I don’t drink the stuff. So, he gets this huge fancy machine that also grinds the beans and makes that foamy stuff. YAY me. I reply there is no way I’m allowing all the “stuff” to sit on the kitchen counter. So, I give up my beloved hutch for “it’s” prominent location because he says it’s a statement piece. Ugh! These containers are not only successfully purposeful they have earned their place on the “coffee hutch”. Not quite big enough to hold an entire bag of Costco beans but fits a grocery store size bag.
Nice, lightweight canister. This is a little big, for just one person's use, but I may get something a bit smaller and use this for flour/sugar/crackers, whatever. If you buy larger quantities of coffee beans, I definitely recommend.
