We got a Ninja Espresso machine for Christmas and I purchased this knock box to go alongside it. It is heavy enough that a good knock doesn't send it flying. Its deep enough to hold several spent pucks.

I use this for that machine and I love that the knock bar has a comfortable amount of flexibility, absorbing impact without feeling loose. Grounds release cleanly with minimal effort, keeping the area neat and organized. The base stays stable during use, preventing slipping or tipping when tapping out pucks. The size is practical, fitting neatly beside espresso machines without taking over counter space.This knock box supports a smoother coffee routine by keeping everything contained and accessible. I can’t say anything bad about this, but I think I’m out of my league. I guess if you were a barista or had a small coffee shop this might serve a purpose, but it was a heck of a lot larger than I was expecting, and if I’m beating a pressed scoop of wet coffee into it once a day I might as well walk to the trash can. I guess it’s nice to not have to hit my scoop in the nasty trash can, but the real estate on my counter is too valuable to take up this much space. I’m still giving it 5 stars; it is what it says it is and it would serve that purpose perfectly, it’s just not what I was picturing when I ordered it. If you drink enough coffee to fill this in a week you might need to see a doctor. This thing is heavy duty commercial stuff. The outer cover/container is a nice solid metal with rubber feet so it doesn’t clank or slide around if you hit the bar, and the inside tub is a sturdy stainless steel. There is a rubber pad between the tub and the cover as well. Like I said… if you have a small coffee shop, this might be up your alley, but it’s literally half the size of my keurig. Sorry, no bananas for scale.
This coffee knock box is fantastic! It’s made of sturdy stainless steel, and the build quality feels very solid. I love how easy it is to knock out coffee pucks from my espresso machine without making a mess. The size is perfect for my counter, and it’s deep enough to hold multiple pucks before needing to empty it. Cleaning is simple – just rinse it out after use, and it stays spotless. It looks sleek and professional, too, which is a nice bonus. The only minor thing is that it can be a little loud when knocking out very hard pucks, but that’s expected.
I Just got a new espresso machine and was beyond ecstatic to get this knock box for it. I've run into hard to clean ones in the past so I was kind of hoping for the best but leaning on the side of caution when using this. Let me tell you, I used a lot of beans and pulled a lot of shots dialing in my new breville. This knock box did just what it was supposed to do! It's light, but heavy enough that it doesn't budge when you need to hit it to get that puck of espresso out. It's not too big, it's the perfect size honestly. Not to mention it's stainless steel on the inside and it comes out which makes for easy cleaning and drying! I love that it's not super loud to hit due to the rubber material of the bar as well. 10 out of 10! Durable, easy to clean, and worth the value without a doubt! Definitely going to be a part of my coffee bar for years to come.
For years I have been knocking my espresso shots into the sink. I recently decided that it was time to finally get a knock box, and ordered one that turned out to be very lightweight and ineffective. I returned it and ordered this one from LOK LOKDS. When I reflect back on my days as a barista, this is the style of knock box I used. This box is much more heavy duty with the base made of stainless steel. The inside box is removable for easy cleaning and the anti-slip grips on the bottom keep it from sliding. The tapping rod across the center is cushioned which helps to keep the noise level down. Capacity wise, this is similar to a commercial style knock box. It is nice-looking, sitting next to my fancy espresso machine and feels like an upgrade to my kitchen aesthetics. I am happy with this nice knock box that is completely effective for emptying my portafilter grinds into and the price of $26.99 is completely reasonable for the value it provides.
We resisted getting a knock box for years, but after I started saving coffee grounds for the garden, my old container setup became messy. The grounds never came out cleanly, and I often had to use a stick to break them apart. This knock box is a total game changer. It does take a bit more counter space, but it holds so much more and keeps the area far cleaner. Highly recommended!
