Great product but needs improvement
Let me start by saying I LOVE my cup warmer. It does the job. It keeps my coffee HOT!!BUT, to the manufacturer I say, it needs some tweaking.First, let's talk about the temp range. The plate temp goes from 130°f to 180°f. The 180 is great for steeping tea with room temp water. I use it often to make peppermint tea, and then turn the temp down to keep it warm. The improvement is needed on the low end. I find 130 to be tongue-burning hot and suggest that the low temp should go down to about 110°f for those who want their drink warm but not scorching. Also, the mug it comes with needs a redesign for the lid. The slide cannot be removed making it extremely difficult to get the lid properly cleaned. The next bit is more of an FYI info warning for customers. Before buying this product, I specifically asked the AI if it would work with my Yeti mag-slide Rambler (metal bottom) cups. It said yes. It lied. This product will NOT warm up the contents of a Yeti Rambler. In fact, I have found that it works great with the mug it comes with but not much else. ( Note: I have not tried it with a ceramic cup, but imagine it would wok fine but leave the cup itself extremely hot.)The provided cup also comes with a silicone mat, that I haven't used yet, and a hard plastic bottom that attaches to the bottom of the cup. You will need to use the plastic bottom when the cup is not on the heater otherwise the mug bottom will wick away the heat of the liquid in the cup.Overall, a good product that works fine, with adjustable temp and ON times from 1 hour to 12 hours. I'm my opinion, worth the cost to have coffee that stays hot in the winter.

All the hot water with none of the blown circuits
This heats up a 3/4 mug of room temperature water in about 20 minutes. And keeps it hot for as long as you set it - 8 hours, 10, 12. That's what I use it for - heating water, then mixing the water with powdered herbs to take. It works great, and I can set it ahead of time or right after one round and leave it until I'm ready for the next round.I got this mug warmer after it became clear the wiring in my apartment can not handle an 1100W or 600W tea kettle without blowing a circuit. The beauty of this mug warmer is that it uses a mere 35W. Takes longer (20 minutes instead of 1 minute), but that spreads out the draw of electricity over time so one blows a circuit. If I had one design change to make, it would remember the temperature (150°F) I set it to every time, rather than re-setting to its default (130°F) each time it is turned off. But I just have to press two buttons to get to 150° and that's become pretty routine. One other thing worth a mention, as I use it overnight some nights (while sleeping) and the temperature read-out is a bright light in the dark, I found that by placing a small pebble over the round inset display, the light is blocked and the heat is not a problem for the very removable pebble.

remove mug bottom cover
Not sure why the mug has an extra rounded cover on the bottom of the mug, you have to remove it otherwise it will not heat- the mug is designed to sit flat. Im sure some people miss this and return it. Once you do that, its glorious and keeps drinks how from 130-180 degrees all day! and it looks great on the desk. Love It!

Nice and hot!!!
It's really nice. On its lowest setting it's a little too hot but that's fine. I rather have that than no hot enough. I had an issue pulling off the plastic seat that goes on the bottom of the mug. But it can pull right off, not twist. The mug and base is of good quality. The lid is snug similar to Yeti design. It's probably the best heated mug for the price. Now it just comes down to longevity. If you like your drinks hot, this is a must.

Consistently hot coffee (or tea)!
Actually works! The factor I like is I can use my porcelain or ceramic mugs and just turn the heat up a little bit. My latte stays hot for HOURS without getting that nasty film on the top. (Yes, I can get distracted and not drink a large coffee all in one sitting! 😂) It does come with a stainless steel lined mug that you need to keep on the 130 setting (lowest) or you get a film on top if the heat is higher and you don’t drink it quickly enough. My only “downside” is the controls work too easily, as in just barely touch them and they change. I would recommend having control buttons that actually “click”, so that you are deliberate in your selections. Because I keep mine on the end table next to the sofa where I read/study, it’s easy to accidentally change the settings. But… it’s not a game changer for me. You can adjust both temperature and time settings depending upon preference, and there are several options—not just high, medium, low. Amazing! And, like I said, it actually works… unlike others. I bought two! My husband likes consistently hot coffee too. 😉

Good for warming. Cup is disappointing.
Warmer works well, happy with temp settings and speed at which it heats. However the cup doesn't keep the contents as warm as my ceramic cup. The cup lid looks like it has a sipping hole but it doesn't open. The cup and lid are being donated.
