I love this coffee warmer!!!

Having now used this coffee warmer for several weeks, it warrants a five star review. It replaces an old coffee warmer which I had used for years. I like the choice of three temperature settings. I also like the thoughtful design that makes it easy to set the temperature choice. I use a coffee mug that does not have a flat bottom. I found that the medium temperature settings is able to keep the coffee at a similar temperature as when it came out of the pot. A touch sensitive button is the only control. I put my finger on it once to turn it on (the highest temperature) settings designated by a red light. I put my finger on the touch control a second time and a purple light comes on. That is the setting I use. A third (lowest temperature setting) is a signaled by a blue light. a final touch will turn it off. It does what it is supposed to do and does it better than any coffee warmer I have ever owned.

Has major safety design flaws.

I've had this for over a year now and while it functions well, it has two major design flaws. It is too easy to inadvertently bump the on button. I have burned my hand and melted a plastic drinking up due to unanticipated turning on of the unit. The button is not recessed at all and you take turn it on by the slightest touch. The second flaw is that it turns on at it's highest setting rather than it's lowest. These two items combined make this a safety issue.

Does what it should do.

It does well to keep coffee warm, even in a mug that does not have a flat bottom. I like that the warmer is bigger than even my biggest mug. It is very stable and the cord is plenty long.The only negative I have found is that my creamer seems to look almost curdled. That is sometimes caused by excessive heat so it's not the fault of the warmer, just mentioned it in case you put creamer in your coffee.I've only had it about a week but so far I would say it was a worthwhile purchase.
