Heavy Duty, well built, smooth, perfect fit

I needed a second tamper for my espresso machine at work. I didn't want to spend as much as I did on my home one and this looked nice. It totally exceeded my expectations. This is really nice and heavy. It feels every be as nice of quality as my fancy one costing 3 times as much. The shape of the top could be a little flatter to make it more comfortable for your palm, but if you press more with your fingers on the top of the flat part, then it's perfect. I highly recommend this.

This is a great tamper. Fits my Alessi moka pot coffee funnel! Has nice wright. Is easy to clean. Is durable with nice materials. The black aluminum handle can be easily be removed from the stainless tamper through simple twists (the handle is threaded into the tamper).

Great tamper, but unscrews easily

Ok, so I'm not the most experienced home barista, lol, but based on all the YouTube videos I've seen, I definitely needed something better than the ill-fitting plastic tamper that came with my Gaggia Classic Pro espresso machine.So I took a chance on this tamper and I'm happy I did.I thought an expensive tamper was really overkill and kind of ridiculous (at least for me), but I found this reasonably priced one, and my espresso shots are awesome!My only beef with this tamper is that sometimes when I'm tamping, the tamper unscrews itself from the handle, which is annoying. I'm not sure why it's not more securely fastened -- but it's really not a huge issue and overall I feel this one has tremendous value for its price.Other hardcore espresso affeccionados may disagree but, hey I'm not planning to open a cafe anytime soon :)
