Functional but Bulky
This item definitely does its job, but it’s much larger than expected and feels really bulky. The material is rock hard, which helps with stability but doesn’t blend well with the rest of my setup. Honestly, it’s kind of an eyesore sitting next to my espresso machine—twice the size of other bases I’ve used. Works fine, but I wish it were a little more compact and stylish.

Simple and effective!
Perfect accessory to the Ninja Luxe, allows stability when tamping. Its a simple base with a foam bottom to help it from slipping and protecting the counter. Seems to fit very well and sturdy enough to allow the tamper to push down. Good little accessory to keep handy to the side since the luxe doesnt come with anything out of the box.

Perfect for Ninja's non-standard portafilter with smaller "necks"
But since I'm not using a Ninja Espresso ES601, I was hoping that they observed the standard portafilter sizing. Unfortunately, they do not and this item's side opening is just a mil too small to fit my more standard portafilter (I tried 2). Nothing a sharp blade, a chisel, or a file could not fix. And since I own all 3, it will work for me with a little bit of elbow grease. Not the fault of the manufacturer and no star taken. The item is literally just a piece of plastic plus a rubber bottom. It came in a thin white card board box with no other packing material. Again not star reduction worthy.

Great tool, just not for Breville Bambino
I ordered this because of the other review that said this works for their 54mm portafilter with their Breville machine. I tried it with my Breville Bambino portafilter and unfortunately it doesn't fit. The quality of the item itself is very sturdy and I can see it working very well for the machine it's designed for. For now, it will help house my extra parts and coffee equipment.
