I absolutely love this strainer. It has tiny holes that wouldn't allow food to pass through such as ground beef. Unlike other strainers I've had that were not effective as this one. I would certainly buy again or recommend other to try it.
Very handy Colander. The size is perfect for multiple potatoes. It is easy to clean and perfect for any kitchen.
it is not so large as some, that is good for 1 or 2 persons. it also drains more efficiently than my other colendar.
These metal colanders are difficult to critique. I’m looking for strength between the two handles to avoid sagging and I’m looking for flaws in the grating where it meets the main structure (indicating flaws in the design). I don’t see either here so far. The colander feels strong.This will work with pastas or vegetables. There are good options here with the sizes and they’re effective.Any fine mesh metal colander creates issues with washing. Food tends to smash into the fine mesh areas. No difference here, but if you’re vigilant in cleaning it that shouldn’t be a problem.
Small mesh works well for everything from potatoes to berries. Small size convenient for studio apartment with limited storage.
Great for berries
They're well-made and tolerate heat and dishwashers well. The large one is a perfect fit for my boyfriend's cast iron pot, which drastically improves his bone broth by making the bones removable instead of an extra chunky addition to his soup. I have no complaints. They do exactly what they're supposed to do. Turn them upside-down when trying to rinse out pieces of meat.
