Impressive performance, especially for vegetable juicing.
I bought this slow juicer because I love fresh squeezed orange juice, and I expected something simple and straightforward. This machine is definitely more advanced than a standard citrus juicer, it’s built to extract every drop of liquid from whatever you put into it, and it does exactly that.Assembly was easy. The instructions were clear, and all the parts fit together with a solid, heavy duty feel. The safety lock works well and won’t let the machine run unless everything is aligned correctly. Once it’s locked in, the base suctions firmly to the counter. It didn’t walk, rock, or shift during use.For my first test, I followed the instructions and cut the oranges into the recommended size to avoid clogging or overloading. The oranges were sweet and juicy on their own, but once they went through the juicer, the flavor changed. It pulled out everything, every bit of juice, every trace of flavor, and probably every vitamin and mineral too, but the result wasn’t a taste I enjoyed, you could taste the rind. The juice was completely smooth with zero pulp, which surprised me because I prefer a little texture.I tried again by removing the rind and the loose skin around the segments, and that improved the flavor, but it still wasn’t the classic fresh squeezed heavy with pulp, I like. For oranges, this machine is simply not my favorite.Where it really " SHINES" is with vegetables and other fruits. Based on how thoroughly it works, I think it’s better suited for carrots, kale, spinach, broccoli, apples, and other tougher produce. It squeezes out every ounce of liquid and leaves the leftover pulp almost dry. That part genuinely impressed me.Cleaning takes some effort. Orange pulp gets everywhere, and wiping it out is nearly impossible. Thankfully, the included cleaning brush helps a lot, and running the parts under water loosens most of the residue. It’s not a quick rinse and go appliance, but the brush makes the process manageable. It should clean easier with other fruits and vegetables. The machine is loud, but no louder than any other juicer I’ve used. Given the power and the amount of extraction it does, the noise level feels normal. The build quality is excellent. The plastic parts are thick and sturdy, and the metal filters feel solid and well made. It’s a heavy, well constructed machine that feels like it will last.Overall, this is a powerful slow juicer that excels with vegetables and tougher produce. For oranges, the flavor and texture weren’t what I prefer, but if you’re looking for nutrient dense vegetable juices, this machine is a workhorse with strong construction and thoughtful safety features.

Confession: this was my first time using a juicer, so I do not have much to compare to. My wife wanted this because she was using an older clunky model, but as soon as this machine arrived, she was overwhelmed by work so I was left to figure the machine out myself. Truth be told, I am so glad I did!First, the machine comes together pretty intuitively. The pictures do a good job of guiding you. The first time I attempted to use it, it would not work, and I thought something was broken, but I came to realize that although the main container was latched in well, it was not properly aligned with the safety switch. Long story short, if your machine does not turn on, take off the fruit canister (you can remove it even if there are fruits and veggies in it) and reinstall it making sure that the handle is in the proper place (if you are facing the power button, the handle should be pointing to the right). This happened to me because I following the instructions rather loosely.Once I got the machine on straight everything started cranking right away. My first juice was a combination of mandarin oranges, a couple of apples, and a bunch of baby carrots. The taste was phenomenal! It was so sweet, and refreshing. It got me really interested in what combinations of fruits and veggies I could run with. The machine says it can take whole fruit, by I still cut mine, which I recommend doing. It makes it easier to cram down when you need to start tampering it near the end.The machine makes some noise, but it is not overwhelming. It does not sound like a blender anyway. It is about as loud as it needs to be to crush fruits and veggies I suppose. I had no problem with clogs, the machine does a good job of pushing out the pulp, and the juice comes out quite pristine and pulp free. I do not remember experiencing any bits and pieces of the fruits and veggies when I drank it. It was quite good. I just about filled the main container with fruits and veggies (it still had space for a little bit more), and you can see in the pics how much juice an almost full container of fruit/veggies gets you. I was satisfied with it.I also love how relatively little space it takes up. The pulp and juice containers stack easily, and the machine is quite slender. It is great if you are working with limited space in the kitchen as we are.So all around, I am grateful to have this. I think the quality, capacity, and the resulting juice deserve high marks. Value is in the eye of the beholder, and I value this highly! Would definitely recommend!

AMAZING carrot juice
This makes extremely good juice. The noise level isn't too bad. However, the design makes it pretty involved to clean, which is annoying. It's a decent value for the money.
