This is the second set I have purchased. I have one at another home and they worked so well I got one for a 2nd home. I love that there are 3 different sizes and that they collapse and nest which saves cabinet space.
These are nice weight and should hold up after a year. I had this type before and they took boiling water, dishwasher, folding up and down, and still are good. I got these nice white with drain to replace some old red ones. The sizes are good and large for a pot of spaghetti and fit right in an average dutch pot. The smaller one is good for a fruits rinse. I did away with all non collapsible colanders, because of the room they take up, and boy it's great these fit right on pots in cupboard and space is rare in my house! They are not flimsy. The reason I paid up a bit was for the drain. I didn't like the old ones sitting in god knows what on bottom of sink, as sink filled with drain water from pasta, so if there were no feet, then i had to put on a plate. This drain you can put in sink then put colander on it then blast your hot noodles in it! I don't know if it would hold water if put on counter with lip over edge, i would think as you pour, water would splash out sides so have not tried it that way. These are a good sturdy quality. Love them. Get them.
Nice quality and easy to pop open and close. Store nicely.
Like the fact that they all collapse and nest well for storage but wish there were drain holes in the sides and not just the bottom
This is definitely a space saver. Instead of the bulky colanders, I can collaps these different size colanders and hang on the wall in the kitchen. This frees up my cabinets for food storage containers.
These are amazing. I have little storage space and these colanders are a must! Very sturdy and the collapsible feature is a must have for anyone needing a quality kitchen item!
