I’m very happy with this electric kettle! It boils water incredibly fast and the 1.7L capacity is perfect for daily use. The glass design looks modern and clean, and the blue LED light is a nice touch while it’s heating. I also appreciate the automatic shut-off and boil-dry protection, which make it feel safe and well built. Great value for the price — highly recommended! ☕️💧
This is the best hot water kettle I have ever owned. It brings the water to a boil in such a quick time then beeps and turns off. I love the way it fits on my counter and looks very nice. Very easy to use and worth the cost. It is a little heavy but I expected that with the construction being so compact. I use this everyday now for soups and any product that requires boiling water to be added.
Get the one with adjustable temperature; it has a fantastic keep warm feature, well worth the extra 6 bucks! Getting comfy using the Comfee' took less then a minute! It's solidly built and ergonomically designed. The 3 buttons are logical and convenient, right under your thumb. I love this kettle; it's an ALWAYS-SHOW-ALL design. This includes: 1) the always visible water level (through the clear body), 2) whether it's in Keep Warm mode, actually a "maintain temperature mode" (Three lit red LED dots over the 3 digits mean it will intelligently maintain the set temperature. 3) The current temperature the water is (while heating up and also even while cooling down!), 4) Indication that the kettlle heating element is on (the ring of blue light is on) and, 5) the temperature you are selecting (the digits change as you cycle around the temperature choices.), and 6) whether or not the kettle will restart temperature maintain when you replace the kettle onto the base within 5 minutes (the same 3 red turn on). An additional nicety is that when heating to any temperature, there is never any overshoot of the temperature. The last few seconds of temperature increase are approached slowly then signaled with a single beep, even the approach to 212°. You can easily turn off, or change, the keep warm temperature. Just press the Cancel/Boil and, optionally, cycle around the temperature selections by pressing the Set temp button. If you, optionally, want to maintain that new temperature, press the Keep Warm button after your selection.By the way, the heating shuts off slightly before reaching the set temperature, in order to account for some thermal inertia. That's a feature, not a bug. (Wait a few seconds and you will see the digits rising to the final temperature.) If you're pouring several separate cups for tea at a specific temperature, in Keep Warm mode, replacing the kettle auto reheats
It has been 6 months since I bought this kettle and have been using it regularly and the heating time hasn’t increased and works well. Heats the liquid very quick and been helpful since purchase.
No frills kettle, does what it should do and does it well. Boils quicker than my last kettle and so i was happy with that. Nice design and simple one button operation makes it a breeze to use.
If you want an electric tea kettle that turns on with a simple depression of its lever, turns completely off with a click, and heats its 1.7 liter (a little over 7 cups) water capacity in less that 10 minutes (at 5,000 feet above sea level), then this is the kettle for you. I like it because it is so simple. I don't need a keep warm function or programmable temperature. Other reviewers have mentioned how loud it is. But that is actually a plus for me because when I am in another room, I can hear when it stops boiling and then I know to go make my tea. Another complaint I read about was the kettle came off too easily from the base. Again, a plus because my old kettle (which died and is not made anymore) sometimes stuck to the base and would drop down on the counter when I least expected it. All in all, a good basic tea kettle for a reasonable price.
Would buy again and again as gifts etc. I love my kettle. It's wonderful. Light is perfect, it looks beautiful, the design is great, I use it daily so it's held up to a lot of use so far, and its read is accurate for temp. Perfect. Auto shut off is fantastic.
