Retuned - bought a Bunn instead.
I had to return this item due to the simple reason that it could not brew a pot of coffee without overflowing and spewing grounds and hot water everywhere. At first, I troubleshot the grind, I adjusted slightly to accommodate for the amount of water that was being pushed. I also noticed that the company does not include an actual filter basket in the airpot. What they include is a small piece of bent steal that sits on the bottom of the funnel, it does not suspend the filter above the drip hole, causing a blockage and an overflow. There is a reason the Bunn and the Curtis brands are double the price; they are constructed well, and work! You get what you pay for, don't be fooled by the lower price.

Product returned 12/9 but no refund
An airpot of coffee takes too long to brew, way more than advertised time so I returned it. The Amazon return center verified it was received on 12/11/24 and they keep pushing the refund further away. The manufacturer is no help whatsoever. I called Amazon and was promised a refund by 12/29/24, but now it’s further postponed - I’ve never ever waited so long for a refund ever. I’m sorry I ever bought this coffeepot.

As a vine review I would have to say that this probably should have been listed as a returned item and list it again instead of taxable amount at full price.The outside of the shipping container was perfectly undamaged and intact but inside it was packed improperly and look like it had been opened at one time .The filters were not in the plastic bag but stuck back in the filter holder. The filter holder was stuck in a way inside the box that crushed the carafe. But the unit is still functional.Do not pour more than 2 l of water into the main unit because everything else will just flow out and to the floor so just be careful there

Great addition
We are in the process of setting up several cabins on property we just bought. One of my visions is having a main area where we can offer hot coffee and fresh eggs, goodies etc to our guests. We tested this out and works just like the commercial coffee makers I am used to. Highly recommend again based on your needs. This is going to be perfect for us.
