I had been struggling with an expensive manual can opener for quite awhile now, which was supposed to last a lifetime. Yeah, the lifetime of a hamster, perhaps, so while fighting once again to open a can, I told Alexa to add a can opener to my cart. She close this one and based on the price and the reviews, I bought it. I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. This can opener works extremely easily. I can’t believe I fought that other one for so long. This one is so easy to use and turning the handle is just effortless.

Better than the average can opener as far as ease of use and completing the task assigned. It does open cans fully, the handles are easy to grip, however since I have arthritis in my hands, turning the handle is not as easy as it should be. Granted, it's about the same as most other can openers, but the description of being soft non-slip handles made me hope that it would also be easy to turn. If the manufacturer were to lengthen the turning handle by about half as much more, the longer length would give more grip as well as a better leverage on the can and allow us to open a can with much less stress on the hands.Not a terrible can opener, and will be fine for most people. But a longer turning handle would make it so much better for the elderly and others with hand and grip issues.

Value and function TOPS!
Always looking to save money, this is a great value. Bang for your buck, I spent a lot more on a can opener and that one (also bought on Amazon) was crap barely gripped and broke after a few months.This can opener is sturdy strong and cheap! I plan on buying 3 more before price is raised...

can't beat the manual can opener
i have a good electric can opener and it works great 90% of the time. the only problem is that some cans have lids that aren't removed by the can opener.so in comes old faithful to the rescue. this can opener works 100% of the time and i highly recommend it for people who have the hand strength to use it. if you are elderly or suffer from arthritis, it might not be the best choice for you.

Fantastic can opener
I don't usually get excited over things especially a cheap can opener, but this thing rocks! Fast, easy to use, and never a struggle. Some can openers leave the lid on partially, not this one. Really easy twisting if you are older, weak, or have trouble with twisting this bad boy is the bomb! I would buy it again but I think this will last me the rest of my life.
