An Economical Air Fryer

This is an economic air fryer -- small space, pretty small capacity and low price. It has some nice features though that include 400 degree top temperature and easy to use temp settings and a timer -- both are simple knobs. Air fryers, in general, are easy to use...power on, open and close, turn off and clean. This one's drawer is dishwasher safe. It has a tray for the drawer but it falls to the bottom very easily so not very functional. It would not be hard to put some legs on it or ledges on the drawer to keep it lofted so items can get air from top and bottom, as it is, I don't have confidence in it to stay in place. I think this is a decent low-cost air fryer that is worth a try; however, I'm not confident in its durability. I also notice a synthetic burning smell from the air fryer that makes me wonder about toxins being transferred from it to the food and/or air. If it doesn't last long, it didn't cost much. For the time being, it cooks the food well.

Quality and Functional

Well for the money it's a slight bargain only because it turns on. The timer is 5 minutes off and the variable insert the food sits on just sits on the very bottom. I made a few spacers to raise the cooking platen up and down. I contacted the seller and they basically didn't want to address it. I am thinking of sending it back. It cooks really good for what it is but the attention to detail and the defective components have much to be desired. I am not recommending this unit unless you can't afford something more expensive.
