Doesn't hold much, but perfect for small spaces.

We are just a couple at home, but we have VERY limited counterspace.I hate running the dishwasher for just a very few items, and don't have room for a larger dishrack. This is a perfect item for dishes for a single person/couple (not counting cookware) after a meal. A few pieces of silverware, a plate or two, some bowls and glasses... exactly as it's pictured in the description. It is sturdy, assembled easily, the drain works properly, it doesn't skid/slide on the counter, so all the little things that might be annoying in use have been addressed.VERY happy with this, and recommend this for anyone with a need for a compact dishrack.

Nice surprise

So I am a single person - that does cook on occasion - so I do get dishes. Like pans, mixing bowls etc. I have been using a drying towel and wanted a dish rack. When I saw this I thought, lets give it a try. It comes to you in pieces. Without instructions it is pretty self explanatory - but i does come with instructions so even those without common sense will be able to put it together. I like that it has the fee that sits up off the counter. It does have its little drainage tube and when I get done with it and empty it - I just took it and flipped it over in the sink to get excess water out that didn't go out the drainage tube. It has a little silverware basket which in all honesty is why I wanted a dish drainer vs drying towel to begin with. I was pleasantly surprised at how much it actually did hold and that it was sturdy enough to hold my ceramic/porcelain heavy plate without toppling the drainer over. I did use my drying towel with the dish drainer for the overflow that didn't fit in the drainer but I think on an average day of take out vs cooking with pans this little dish drainer will be a perfect addition. It doesn't take up a whole lot of room on my counter which is good since I really don't have much free counter space to begin with. And it easily fits inside of my sink so that I can easily rinse it off if necessary. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is basically because it is tiny and I cannot fit all my dishes on it - even though I am a 1 person household.

Great fit for office

This is perfect for our office. We have a small sink and no where to dry our lunch dishes. This is super slim, still holds a large bowl and takes up very little counter space.

Small but doesn't store easily

While this drying rack doesn't take up a lot of counter space, it doesn't fold down for storing or anything. It seems pretty solid and sturdy, definitely nicer than flimsy plastic ones. I like the option to plug the tray if you don't have something to drain into, and the spout can be turned and the length of the spout is adjustable. The base was solid and didn't slip around. It holds several plates, not as good with cups but functional enough. The base can hold like at least a cupful of water if you have the plug in to prevent draining, enough for a small load of dishes to drip off. It would be a little better space wise if it could fold down for storage, but it doesn't take up too much of the countertop.
