Perfect size to hold those small left over amounts like ground espresso beans or the extra ground coffee from filling your coffee canister. Nice and thick, looks great, easy to use and the wide mouth easy to clean. This would also be great organizing your cotton balls, etc in the bathroom.
These jars work well for the overnight oats for which I purchased them. They close and seal securely and clean easily. They hold a reasonably sized serving.But I’m writing this review to praise the packaging.When I saw the outer box on my porch I was hopeful. Let’s just say that frequently packages don’t look as good as this one did.When I opened the outer box, the jars were inside another box. Ok, that was a nice touch.When I opened the box of the jars, I was not expecting them to be set firmly into a styrofoam package molded specifically to hold exactly these 12 jars, in individual spots, with a lid for the package molded specifically to the tops.The jars were in perfect condition, because there was virtually no way they could have moved or broken. I don’t yet know the durability of the jars, but the packaging sure provides protection!Yes, they hold a good serving amount. Yes, they’re dishwasher safe. Yes, they close securely and stack in the fridge. But none of that would have mattered if they had arrived broken. They didn’t. They almost couldn’t have.I’m being prompted to address microwave safety. They have metal hinges. They are not microwave safe.The glass honestly seems a little thin in comparison to standard canning jars, but given the use to which I intend to put them I’m not terribly concerned about that.When I need more, I’ll definitely consider these.
Love these small jars! Made a Lemon Herb Salt as holiday gifts and these jars were the perfect size. They have a nice airtight seal so no worries about moisture getting in either. I tied on some ribbon and put the labels on top. I’m sure I’ll buy them again!!
This was my third order of ComSaf Glass Jars with Airtight Lid, Set of Six. Mason jars 17oz. Work great, I hold bulk spice and teas in the jars, along with assorted nuts that I consume and use daily.
I really like these! I use them to store alas toppings for our salads!Only four stars because thy are not as strong as real canning jars. I wouldn’t add boiling vinegar/water to cure pickles, I am afraid they would crack.Great for cool items, nice waterproof silicone on the lids!
These mason jars are perfect for the space needed. Their slim style fit my counter space just right. Good quality for a good price!
I never write reviews but hopefully this saves someone the tons of research & returns I experienced. I was looking for a way to leverage the space of our built in wine rack (since we don’t drink wine) that takes up the space of 2 cupboards. I needed something tall & narrow but I wanted to be able to easily clean whatever would fit. I finally found the perfect fit with these canisters! Note: they only fit in the full squares where mine are placed. They are too large to fit the top/bottom row.The top has a nice gasket & the clips close tightly (enough to ping your knuckles when you open them lol). I was able to store a 5lb bag of dates in 2 canisters, 2.5lbs of almonds in another. You can fit your hand inside to wash thoroughly. They are nice looking & the glass is fairly durable considering almonds aren’t likely to riot I think they’ll be safe. The only warning I’ll give is, think about how you will get the items out before you need them. I can imagine getting the spaghetti is going to be interesting.
