A really excellent steamer
I purchased the 26 cm. steamer and I use it once or twice a day and on a gas stove. I'm really pleased with it, after using it for a few weeks. The size is perfect, it's fits very well in my cabinet with 12" wide shelves. I only cook for myself, so I didn't need anything too large.The design is nice and the materials appear to be durable. The lid is, as shown in the picture, is very deep with vertical, rather than concave sides. This gives you a lot of room to put bigger items in the top basket. The steamer baskets have raised, ie. embossed, ridges to hold your steaming container above the vent holes to allow the circulation of steam. These ridges are in an attractive chrysanthemum pattern; looks very nice. Each steamer basket comes with a lid with the same steam holes as the basket. All handles are hard rubber. The handles on the lid and the steamer baskets stay cool. The handles on the pot will only stay cool if you take care not to let the flame get close to the edge of the pot. If you keep the pot centered on the burner, use Hi setting to let the water boil, and then lower the flame a bit for actual steaming, the handles on the pot should get no more than warm. But, I'd never grab them without checking how hot they were first.As far as cleaning, mostly soap and water does it. The exception is if your water leaves mineral deposits, probably in the form of white dots, on the bottom of the pot. In that case, you will need a cleanser to get them off. I use Comet, no scratching and it's strong enough so that I don't have to scrub all day, tried Bon Ami first and it didn't work so well.All in all, I couldn't be more pleased. This is a very nice product. I can't comment on durability, since I've only had it a few weeks. I'm happy to recommend it to all, based on my experience so far.

Great steamer!
I have been wanted to purchase a multi-layers steamer for a while. But with all the products saturating the market, it was hard to pick one to suit your need perfectly without see or feel it in person. I finally chose this one after a long consideration. Even though happy with my choice; I should've got a little wider (28 cm) instead of (26 cm).My sister like what I got; so she's going to buy that one from me and I'm going to order another one for myself, size (28 cm).I gave 4 stars because the material is on the thin size; wish just a tad thicker. But happy overall!Updates: Bought another one, size 28 cm. Perfect for my need in the kitchen; it steams very fast everything and sits permanently on my burner. I gave 5 stars this time. By the way, the shipping is super fast, too! Highly recommended.

Better than Expected!

Good product
I bought this product so I can steam-cook bao. It works well, honestly. But it's thinner than I thought it would be. My old two-tier steamer had thicker metal. But otherwise, this steamer works fine.

It is good, though not what I expected
This is a good solid product. It was not what I expected in that I was hoping for three pots with bottoms I could use on the stove. It is three tiers of steamers only with holes for steam. But I've used it once and it's excellent as just a steamer. I've marked it three because I really wanted three pots and got one. A few pictures of the inserts would have settled that for me. I have kept the product, though, because it's useful and well made.

What I loved about this steamer is the ease of use, sturdy handles and can steam a whole meal! Used it for steaming fish, vegetables, dim sum and dumplings. I liked how the construction of the steamer is and when broken down, it fits in my cabinet not taking up too much room. Would definitely recommend this product to my friends.

Concord Steamer
Haven't had the time to use this much, but it arrived on time, in perfect condition. We've used one section to steam asparagus and it was perfect. Looking forward to trying more recipes. Cleans up beautifully and stores easily. Also, the stainless steel is lightweight, so easy to lift. One thing...my husband was confused that there was no handle on lid. I told him to use oven mitts to remove the lid. Duh.
