I love this steamer. Very sturdy, fits together nicely. Plenty of room for large orders of food. I think I steamed about 45 tamales at once with no issues. The real test was making my laulau. Worked great. Holds plenty of water. Looks are nice too.
I bought a Concord pot for my wife several years ago, and it has served her well. When she asked me to get a bigger pot, I only considered Concord. I knew it would have the functionality and quality she demands.Stuff happens. This time, the bottom pot was out-of-round. It's not issues like this that define a company; it is how it handles them. I sent an email to the company, and it quickly replied with a request for pictures. Shortly after sending the pictures, I received a reply that it would send me a new one. It shipped the same day. Excellent customer service!Yes. I would recommend Concord .
Beautifully built and constructed to last a life time. I use 32CM size for steaming buns and dumplings and it works out magnificent. It has a full 4 cooking levels and anything in between. You will NOT be disappointed with this purchase. I appreciate quality things especially these days when everything is built so cheaply. It is like everything else , you get what you pay for. You will be delighted . Happy steaming people.
Just used it to make thai chicken meatballs, it did a fantastic job. Easy to clean too. Dishwasher safe, the price is great too. made steamed dumplings, made tamales. Fantastic. Very large and useful for a family of five. I am glad I bought 32 cm
I haven't use it, so no comment on the "Easy to clean". The price is not cheap.
My first impression when this steamer arrived is that it is HUGE and that it is not the quality of my high-end stainless cookware. However, when you consider that it is MUCH cheaper than my All Clad cookware and that its only function is to heat water, it is perfect! I was able to make 20 steamed buns in 15 minutes! I love this pot and am so glad I bought it. Next, I'll try tamales!
I purchased this steamer for vegetables, though I know there are other uses. For me, for the price, the steamer works excellent, has a tremendous amount of capacity, looks great and fits together perfectly. It is big, so cleaning takes time. So far, very happy with the purchase.
