Great grinder!
We LOVE this little grinder! It's so easy to use and is nowhere near as noisy as our Cuisinart burr grinder -- which we've used for years but especially as it gets older, works best with pretty dry beans, vs fresher, oilier beans which can cause it to clog up.This new Kidisle grinder runs through any type of beans with no problems, there are a ton of grind options, it's fun to use, and its look is sleekly modern, taking up very little counter space.I still have our ol' Cuisinart grinder as a back up, because so many things are built to be disposable these days. But for now, we really are enjoying our new little kitchen device, use it daily, and hope it lasts a spell.

Great Grinder, a MUST have!
This grinder has more features than I will ever use, but I like having the options. It’s a lot quieter than expected, especially compared to my older small one. The grinds are consistent, and the stainless steel container was a big selling point for me. It’s easy to clean, and there’s nothing better than freshly ground coffee.

Great burr grinder
We really love this burr grinder. I was going back and forth between this one and the breville $200.00 one. Chose this one instead for our espresso maker. We really love it. For two shot espresso we put on on 4 espresso and run it for 8 seconds twice.Works really well.I wish the top was solid - as it’s flimsy and strange. - but it works well.

Great grinder with minor annoyances
We have just started using this grinder, but so far there is much to like. I am docking one star for minor annoyances. The grinder is relatively quiet and grinds the beans nicely. We do not store beans in the hopper as we prefer to keep them in an airtight dark container. We load up what we need for each grind and have figured out the number of cups to select to full empty the hopper. It is superior to the grinder we were using before. Now for the two annoyances. One is the hopper locking mechanism. It is awkward and to get it locked in, you almost always end up changing the coarseness selector as you try to twist and lock the hopper. It seems this could be made easier.Second is the lack of an on off button. It turns itself off after three minutes, but I should be able to power it down when I'm done.Overall, I am pleased with this grinder and will update if anything changes.

After a month, I'm disappointed
Update: I am the only coffee drinker in my household. I drink one or two cups of coffee each morning. I just purchased this in December. After only a few uses, following all instructions, and cleaning with the provided brush, I noticed the coffee wasn't going through any more. I was using the finer grind setting, but the finer ground coffee started clogging up the grinder down where I cannot reach. The fine ground coffee also was stuck to the ridges of the burrs, below, and through the chute. I took out the burrs and did my best to clean it out. Yes, I was using the pump top to "blow" coffee grinds through, with each grind, but it was not enough to clear the pathway. After a tedious cleaning as much as I was able, I found that if I set it on a medium grind it it will work without clogging. I see this as a problem because it is advertised to do fine grinds and that is what I wanted. I cannot take this thing apart to clean. It is not designed for the use to open up and clean the coffee grind pathway. Apparently, I will have to settle for a medium grind. I am disappointed. Is there a better special brush one can get to help clean the chute-pathway? Buyers, if you are looking for a grinder that does fine grinds, I do NOT recommend this one.Original review:This Kidisle Conical Burr Coffee Grinder replaces my Shardor model that stopped working right after only a few uses. I hope this one lasts. It looks very nice and is easy to use.I like that the coffee falls down into the middle of the grounds container rather than from the side. I also like the bellows feature to blow out and clean out residual coffee grounds in the chute. This grinder, even when set on the maximum of 12 cups does not put out much. I certainly can't get 12 cups of coffee out of that amount of grounds, perhaps only 30 ounces of prepared coffee - about a day and a half's worth because I make a 20 oz tumbler of coffee each morning. I usually grind for a week at a time and store the grounds in an air tight container. I won't be using the adapter for individual espresso portafilter. The control panel is easy to undertake and to use. The grinder does make some noise, but less than the inferior Shardor model I am replacing. It is not any faster. In fact, it may be a bit slower than the Shardor, but with the first couple of uses, it ground the coffee fine for espresso. That's something the Shardor could not do.Cleaning it out is a bit tedious even with the brush. The unit came with a couple of plastic rings and a metal pin with a loop at one end. The instructions say nothing about what these are, or why they are included. As far as longevity, time will tell.
