Ollygrin-Only Grinder You Need!
The grinder is a very good value, offering features and consistency typically found in models within a higher price bracket. It stands out for its reliable construction, simple interface, and ability to produce consistent grinds across a wide spectrum of brew methods, from espresso to French press.Grind Settings: With approximately 30 distinct grind settings, this grinder accommodates nearly every coffee preparation method. This mechanism allows users to fine-tune their grind size for specific applications like AeroPress, pour-over, and cold brew with ease.Consistent Grind Quality: The grinder consistently produces the same coffee grounds, which is critical for even extraction and a superior cup of coffee. This consistency is what elevates the flavor profile and ensures high-quality results.Operation: Functionality is straightforward and user-friendly. Users can select the desired quantity either by pre-set cup selections or by employing a precise timer function measured in seconds to minutes, allowing for repeatable dosing accuracy.Aesthetics: The grinder features a professional, clean design aesthetic that complements any modern kitchen or coffee station setup. The primary benefit of grinding coffee immediately before brewing is the preservation of freshness, maximizing the aromas and flavor that are lost to oxidation once the bean is ground. I suggest never buying ground coffee. If I could provide one recommendation it would be grind fresh. It’s a game changer and you’ll thank me later. This machine delivers on that promise consistently. For the enthusiast who appreciates variety in their daily routine—transitioning from an espresso shot one morning to a fine pour-over or a coarse French press the next—this grinder is a highly capable and reliable one.For the price just buy it, you won’t regret the decision. Value, consistency and durability with a simple user interface just makes it the right choice for the daily cup.

Best grinder I have ever used
For the past 10 years I have used a Capresss burr grinder, and was quite happy with, but when that one finally gave up the ghost, I found this Olygrin. To be honest, I had never heard of it, but I checked online reviews (not Amazon)) and found that dedicated coffee sites highly recommend it. It's less expensive, quieter, faster, and easier to clean. There are more grind settings, and a much better method of timing the grind. Other than that I can't think of a single thing to recommend it :-). If and when this one dies, I will be replacing it with the identical model. Can;t say enough good things about it.

The likes and dislikes
Things I like:It's very clean. The plastic container for the ground coffee has no static, so the coffee comes out cleanly and there's no more mess on my counter. The little container fits snugly under the spout, and the whole process is really tidy. The grind quality seems good and very uniform. It's smaller than my old grinder, so it doesn't take up as much room on the counter.Things I don't like:The buttons on the front can be tricky to figure out, and they aren't super responsive when pressed. Over time, I realized I only need to push two buttons, so it gets easier after a while. I worry about the longevity of the digital keypad. It's REALLY LOUD. My old one was somewhat loud, but this one is--wowzers. I grind beans now during the day for the next morning so I don't wake the neighborhood.I gave it one extra star for the clean-factor, but this is a little come-down from my old Oxo.

Great grinder for the money, even grind, no static very consistent. Extremely pleased
This is the third different coffee grinder that I have purchased. I wish that I had bought this one first! The other grinders were "messy", presumably due to static electricity. When the cup was removed, there was always coffee grounds (tiny ones) that were left on the counter, and when the cup was emptied into the press there was always quite a bit of coffee that stuck to the cup and also got on my hand. I thought that this just "is what it is". As soon as I used this grinder, i found out that these issues were not mandatory. This grinder produces a very consistent grind, feeds the beans smoothly and evenly. But best of all, there is absolutely no mess!! No grounds on the counter, nothing left in the cup and nothing on my hands, just grind the beans, pull the cup, dump them into the press, a light tap, and the cup is empty and clean. This unit was a little more than some of the others, but from my experience, it is well worth it.

IT IS VERY LOUD WHILE GRINDING
A.I. review stated users said it was quietIT HAS AN EXTREMELY LOUD GRINDI don’t like the fact that a small amount of ground coffee falls when pulling out the grind hopper after the grind making it kinda messy. I found if I tap it several times on top that doesn’t happen.i don’t want to have to remember and tap the grinder! I also didn’t like the separate top lid to the two piece grind hopper. I was disappointed at the small size of the bean hopper. On the positive side, it does have a nice grind and anti static
