I was looking for a set of steak knives that were sharp! I purchased this set, and although they're attractive, I was disappointed by their overall level of sharpness and ability to cut through meat. The Core Kitchen Stainless Steel Steak knives are incredibly sharp and very comfortable. The soft, rubbery feel handle is very nice. I am used to the handles being uncomfortable or sometimes difficult to hold onto, but with these, it's an excellent, comfortable feel while using them. They come very shrak, and they work very well. A set of six knives is also great since most sets come in sets of 4 only. For the price, look, and feel, you can't go wrong with these steak knives.
