These Cork & Mill sandstone coasters are both stylish and functional. They have a clean, natural look that fits nicely with almost any décor, and they do a great job absorbing condensation from cold drinks — no puddles or drips on the table. The cork backing keeps them from sliding and protects surfaces well.The only small downside is that they can show water spots or slight discoloration over time, especially with darker beverages. They’re also a bit heavier than typical coasters, but that’s part of their sturdy, quality feel.

Beautiful coasters that wick condensation away. Recommended.

Coasters were well packaged and arrived in good condition. Each coaster is weighty since they are made from stone.Coasters have beautiful layering. I was hesitant to get them since they are not uniform rounds, but I actually like the shapes as it adds to the uniqueness of each coaster without deviating so much as to feel like they do not belong together.Each coaster has a padded bottom to protect table surfaces.Coasters come with a warning that sandstone is absorbent (which, honestly, is the point, right?) and to avoid colored liquids from soaking in to prevent staining - so don't spill colored drinks on them and expect it to just wash off - they are condensation-catchers, after all.The coasters seem a little less porous than some old Thirsty Stone brand coasters that I am replacing, but have not experienced any issues with condensation not getting wicked away. Replacing the old coasters as 3 of the original set of 4 have been broken from dropping. Sandstone is durable to a point, but repeated drops by kids and teenagers have taken their toll.
