Perfect!

I have two kids who wear braces so I continue to strip corn off the cob for them. I have gone through so many corn strippers. I find that I either don't like how a corn stripper works, or it works well but doesn't hold up. The one I'd been using died, so despite it being the very end of fresh corn season, I purchased this to replace my broken one. This one is far superior to my last one. The best part is that the cup to hold the corn which has been stripped off the cob is huge. It is sharp and removes the kernels quickly & easily. The bonus is that this comes with a grater attachment, so it is multi-functional.The only downside for me is that it is much bigger to store than previous corn strippers (not an issue for anyone who has a good deal of kitchen storage space -- which is not me.)I've used it twice so I can't speak to longevity. But based on my experience thus far, I highly recommend it.

Yummy corn.

This works great but it needs to be taller. You can only get half of the cob done before the cob hits the bottom of the dish.

Love it!

This gadget works great, exactly as described. I have teeth venners and cannot eat corn on the cob. Steam or boil the corn on the cob first, let cool just a little, then strip the kernels and it's ready to eat. You can also do it to uncooked cobs for freezing of corn. Also a nice grater!
