Didn't fit half of my ears (the corn were too big for the tool) but worked well when it did.
These "kind of" worked. I wish there was more of a "lip" at the bottom edge or hand grips on either side. When trying to strip the corn I often had issues with it slipping out of my hands. These are definitely more useful for skinnier ears of corn. Anything bigger than "Average" I've found to get jammed up on the "core" piece and because you have to strip these vertically I had a few ears come shooting out from the bottom. So make sure your corn has a good base.I do have to say, when you have the perfect ear of corn this thing works quick, easy, and zips off the kernels with ease. I have thought about attempting to use this with a McIntosh apple.I feel as thought the retail price is very high at $19.99 when I wasn't even able to use it on half my ears. Perhaps a $9.99 price point would be more reasonable.
