This is a unique design. There is only one string that runs through the entire apron; when you pull on the straps, the neck adjusts as well. I don't hate it, though, because sometimes I want the neck to be higher and cover more of my shirt, and sometimes I don't. The biggest issue is hanging the apron up when you're not using it because... well... you really can't. As soon as you hang the neck around a hook, the whole thing slips, and you lose your straps. The solution I've found is to gather the neck and the loose ties together and hang them all over the hook - but it's bulky and not great.I've laundered it several times now, and while it's wrinkly as heck afterwards, it does wash well. The string folded inside the hems, though, and now they're no longer flat. I'd have to remove it and iron it to get it back to shape and I'm just not willing to add one more thing to the list of things I have to iron.While I like the appearance and the pocket, I would not purchase this item again. I debatably only "need" one apron designed like this. There are other similar items on the market with adjustable necks and big pockets that don't have awkward, mobile strings.

I don’t like the feeling of an apron strap around my neck so the adjustable strap is preferable in order to keep a looser strap which will not weigh on my neck.Fabric:-I really like the green color, which is true to the photo in the listing, perhaps even brighter.- It’s nice to have an apron without a print, as it’s easier to match with whatever shirt I am wearing underneath.-The fabric is solid weight, but not too heavy. I don’t feel like it will weigh me down or make me hot, yet it will be thick enough to keep things off my clothes.Style/fit:-I really like the adjustable strap style.-The apron fits me well – I am usually a size small to medium.-It will be helpful to have the pockets.Wash instructions:-There were no instructions in the package so I washed on cold/delicate and line dried. Luckily those are the instructions on the listing.-Wrinkles: my pictures show the results of the above laundering. For myself, I don’t care so much about wrinkles on a utilitarian apron, but if you care, you might have to iron or steam it.Overall, I would definitely recommend this item. It is a really decent quality for a reasonable price.

Cotton, yes! I like the way the straps adjust
I don't need my aprons to be fancy, and they don't need to match my clothes. I just want them to be utilitarian in the kitchen and keep the clothes I care about clean. I'm used to these aprons have an adjustment strap at the neck, but I actually like this version better. I never liked having that extra tail that I had to tuck inside. This is cotton, so it's going to wrinkle. I don't find that to be a problem either, but if you do, you might want to get something that includes some polyester.
