I got this apron for my mother who loves to craft and make pottery. The apron is perfect! The cross back design is unique and she loves how it feels and fits. The material is great and more importantly it is easy to clean and wear. It was a fantastic gift, I would absolutely recommend. It would also be very functional and great for someone who loves to garden. Nice and lightweight while also keeping you nice and clean!
I was considering buying this apron but had doubts that it would fit me comfortably as it is a Japanese design and I am tall and certainly not slender. Also, as some of the reviews said it ran small I was afraid it would bind and fit me like a sausage skin. I was wrong.My niece, who works at America’s Test Kitchen, gave me one as a gift this Christmas. I put it on, cooked dinner, and realized half way through the meal that I still had my apron on. It was that light and comfortable. I immediately ordered two more.In addition to being so light and comfortable that you easily forget you have it on, this apron provides full coverage, has pockets and holds it’s color and doesn’t shrink when washed. It is the most satisfying apron I have ever used and I have cooked professionally for years, so I have extensive apron wearing experience. This apron marries function, comfort and style and unless you are quite large it will fit you. I highly recommend it, with no reservations.
Great apron, we have ordered them in the past and the past ones had pocket in the front, thus only 4 stars. To be fair, the picture does show side pockets but since we were "reordering" it caught us by surprise. My wife loves these as they don't pull on her neck and fit her comfortably. They are light weight but protect your whole front.
Love, love, love this apron. It is so cute and comfortable. The first time I wore it my husband looked at me and said that it was the cutest apron he had ever seen. The color is beautiful and it washes wonderfully. The material is perfect. Not too thin and not too thick. Not what I would call waterproof but it keeps my clothes dry while doing dishes. Amazing deal for the quality. No need to spend 100+ on a fancy name brand.
I was reluctant to purchase this due to some of the reviews but boy am I glad I took a chance and bought it!!For starters I am 5'2, 1 year postpartum, still breastfeeding (to give you an idea), and when I bought this I weighed 200. I'm at 191 now. This is never been too tight but once it's on I have had to straighten the straps but it's not uncomfortable or too tight. I have noticed the more weight I lose the better it fits.I wanted this to have something on when I am cleaning, protect my clothes with my rambunctious toddler, and for while I cook. I've ruined too many tops from cooking and cleaning without an apron. I honestly don't know how I lived without this previously!! I enjoy cleaning with my apron on.I love the pocket. I have a Samsung Note 8. While it does fit I am not comfortable KEEPING it in my pocket while I go about cleaning. I tend to take it out of my pocket and put it in the room I'm in.I have washed this two times since I have purchased this. I know some people complained about shrinkage...my only question is did they follow the instructions on washing? I wash all our clothes in cold to cool water. I washed this in cold water and hung to dry. Only because of the material. It feels like linen. If anyone knows ANYTHING about linen is that #1 it shrinks in hot water #2 it shrinks when placed in the dryer. I placed mine on a hanger and let it air dry. Two times. It's not shrunk either time. The color has not faded nor bled on other items.All in all this is the perfect apron. Gorgeous color apron. Perfect for your cleaning, cooking, SAHM, toddler, homeschooling, and whatever other needs that you have!!
I’m 5’3 every apron is super long on me but this apron is JUST PERFECT! I 100% recommend it! I will be ordering in every color.
I have stone counters in my bathroom and kitchen, and find myself getting tiny holes in my thinner, cotton tshirts when I've been cleaning or cooking from rubbing against the edge of the granite. I got this apron mostly to solve that problem, but it's also just great for protecting your clothes in general from splatters when cooking and cleaning. It's a very comfortable, canvas-like material. I'm a size L or 12 and I've got plenty of room. It's open in the back, so I imagine up to a size 16 would have no problems, possibly even beyond that. This isn't one of those frilly, for-show aprons, but it's still nice looking. I got the sage green color and really like it. I haven't washed it yet, but it feels very durable. I think it'll do just fine in the washer and dryer.**Edit 7.24.20**I washed my apron for the first time and it shrunk up horribly. It went from being about knee length to now hitting higher than mid-thigh. This is partly my fault; I didn't check the wash instructions and just assumed it could go in the washer and dryer. It says hand wash and don't put in dryer. I wish this apron didn't have to be cleaned so delicately, and now that it's shrunk I'm not sure I'll continue to use it, so I'm changing my rating from 5 stars to 3.
