They are perfect on my desk where my cat food dishes are (up where the dog can't reach them). The cats are messy and this makes it so easy to clean up. I like that they are clear. They actually work as a mouse pad also!
These mat are the perfect size to place over cloth placemats that I use for special occasions. They keep food spills from wrecking and staining the fabric. They are easy to clean. They can also be used under craft projects to protect the table or cloths under the project.

Took 1 stars off because they do scratch easily, and the fact that the items were smaller than the description which made it unusable for my purposes. I don't want to cut them to size or double up with width wise but, needed them exactly as it was described. I've bought them more than once so the second time I was disappointed for this reason. I use them under fabric placemats on nightstands to protect the wood underneath, and under items that might scratch the surface of furniture or to prevent coffee from the Keurig splattering on my granite counter without covering up the counter-top since it's a clear placemat.
A great purchase. They lay flat and wrinkle free and don’t detract from the look of my table settings. They also protect my tablecloths/runners from wayward food and drink splashes. They wipe down easily.
Crystal clear and with nicely rounded corners, which I appreciate, but thinner than I had hoped, so thin that it makes them floppy and also makes little cracks appear at the edges from the slightest bumpWill be fine for light duty use for just me
