No noise reduction.

So I was trying this as an alternative to a major competitive brand which I already owned and this one disappointed. I was hoping for less noise but this did not deliver and the quality of the finished product not as simple to achieve. My first attempt with milk, whey protein, Greek yogurt, frozen fruit and crushed ice did not go well. The blades were spinning but had a hard time engaging with the slushy mixture. I had to keep adding milk and stirring to get it to mix. The “other “ brand handled it much better so I don’t see the value with this one.

I got this for my workplace and have a similar blender at home. I use it mostly for smoothies, and it has worked well. Much better than my single smoothie maker, which does struggle with frozen berries.This one does not.My only complaint with this is that it can easily be overfilled, resulting in a mess. Yes, the instructions say to be careful filling it more than 2/3. Normally, I find those as conservative estimates. This was not a conservative estimate. I put slightly more than 2/3 into the container and proceeded to create an avoidable mess.I say avoidable because it was warned not to do that. I honestly just haven't had that problem before. It could be attributed to user error, and I may have been deceived by its size, thinking it could hold more than it did. It definitely held more than my single-serve smoothie maker.Overall I'm happy with this, but wish I hadn't made that mess.

Powerful blender

I ordered this to replace an old, outdated blender. So far, I'm quite happy with this. First, it's easy to use. Just some simple controls: speed, pulse, and power button. The size is a pretty typical size blender, pretty good size but not huge. The pitcher is BPA-free plastic, and the blades stainless steel. I made smoothies a few times since I received this blender and it does a great job blending all the ingredients and crushing ice. It includes a tamper which makes it easy to move the ingredients around if need be, without turning off the machine. The motor is pretty powerful at 1500w (though not as powerful as a Vitamix at 2200w), and I'm pleased with that. The ice I put in the blender for my smoothie was easily crushed, and the overall blend was smooth. It does get pretty loud but then, I don't know of any blenders that are quiet. Cleaning is easy - much like other blenders. It comes with a little bonus recipe book. All in all, a great product. Reasonably priced.
