The Learning Curve

At first glance, I'm giving this apron five stars because the build seems bold, solid and well done. I'll come back if for some reason it fails, and I feel the need to downgrade. So far, I really like it.There are two things others might find helpful. First, I am new to this style of apron and I found there was a slight learning curve. After some experimentation, I came to a decision as to how to put it on. Grab the crossed straps at the top of the apron and put it over your head. Adjust for fit from the neck down. At this point the remaining straps will be in front of your shoulders. Reach back near your rear pant pocket and slide your arms forward through the straps which will put them to the back, behind your shoulders. Then tie off. Reverse the process to take off the apron.Two, I like to tie off an apron in the front, and these ties are too short as I expected. I easily solved the issue by using a pair of heavy shoe laces. Using a simple slip knot loop, I tied them off to the ends of the straps snugly, which provided more than enough extra length to wrap around and tie off in front. No more struggling to tie a knot in back with so little to work with.There you go. Great price, sturdy apron, how to mount it and an alternative tie off method. Hope this helped.

Definitely a great apron for the price, whether for cooking or gardening

Love this apron! I use it for gardening: the cotton canvas (aka duck cloth) is thick and heavy and of good quality at an amazing price. The fit is good and adjustable to various body sizes: I commonly wear a size 2XL. The straps are easy to just pull thru the grommets and the front will then rise up until the straps are pulled tight enough to be tied in back.The only drawback, for me, to use for gardening, is that the pockets are a bit small for my purposes. The lower left pocket is just barely of good size for my phone, but in the right pocket, I like to keep a hand pruner of which barely fits and can be a bit of a wrestle to get them out when needed.However, if used for cooking purposes of which it is sold for, the pockets will probably be sufficient for cooking utensils.I cannot speak of it's stain resistance, as even though I use it for gardening, I'm a fairly clean gardener and have not yet gotten it very dirty at all, even though I've been wearing it for over a month.
