FIRST: I was pleasantly surprised, even impressed, by your follow-up email regarding my purchase. I am also grateful for the care instructions. On-line there are so many conflicting opinions on "proper" care. Really did not want to take out a grinding wheel to get the surfaces smooth as some suggest. Since it's your product, I will follow your guidance to the letter. So far so good! My first batch of bacon was outstanding.SECOND: The 5" skillet is a bit small but should do well for a single fried egg. I'm sure over time I will discover other valuable uses.THIRD: NO LOGO stamped on the bottom. Will this aid in more even heat distribution?LAST THOUGHT: Thankfully no more cracked, cut, flaky, "non-stick" surfaces. If I don't want to ingest this stuff, almost hesitant to donate the old set to charity.

Great pans and sizes once you cure them properly, a perfect non-stick pan.

They are technically cured, but you will have to coat them lightly in Crisco and cure them in the oven three times to have Flawless stick free pans. After that it's very simple cleaning in water and you simply recoat the inside in Crisco and dry on the burner after use. Great Steaks, Chops, chicken and stir-fry are yours after that.

I'm not quite sure how to use the littest pan, but the rest of the pans make this is a great starter set. Not quite as good as some brands, sure, or as those that come preseasoned, but with a few weeks of good care these will serve you quite well. Definitely worth it for the price. Love that is comes with handle covers, those are so convenient!

Nice variety of sizes

This is a nice set of cast iron skillets. Be aware that the smallest one is very small. Kind of the size to cook one egg in. As with any new cast iron they do need to be heavily seasoned to reduce sticking (even though they say pre-seasoned). These work great and it's awesome to have different size options when cooking. The silicone handle holders are so incredibly helpful. If you like cast iron and need various sizes this is a great set to get.
