Glasses are very nice to look at but........
When my order came, i was so disappointed because despite the seemingly good packaging with the glasses enveloped in foam, one of them was broken. I informed amazon and it was promptly replaced. The next one came just like the first one inside a box with all 4 glasses packed in a well-fit hard foam pack. The glasses look well made from a distance with the gold rimmed decoration very striking and making these glasses look elegant. On feeling the flute glasses, they are all smooth and consistent. The problem actually lies with the stem. Unlike some other flute glasses I have, the stem of these glasses are not smooth and have a very noticeable line going down the middle in all the glasses. So when you hold the glass by its stem its quite noticeable by touch. This is a bit annoying since other glasses that i use have smooth stems. This in fact cheapens these glasses a bit. making it seem like the stems were made separately from the flutes and the bump is actually the seam between the two sides of the stem joined together. The very least they coul have done was to smoothen this since i'm sure people will be noticing it once they start using these glasses

Gold rim flecking
Definitely beautiful. However, I gave this set to my daughter for Xmas. She’s used maybe four times, since it’s not an everyday glass. The rim of gold is flecking on one glass. She’s always washed by hand, never in dishwasher. Very disappointing.
