Hold LOTS of water, great insulation, fits into cup holders
I was looking for a 40 oz tumbler to bring to our frequent pickleball games. I needed something that would be large enough to hold all the fluid I need for a full afternoon of pickleball, and insulated enough to keep my drink ice cold all day long. This one does the trick! Here's what I like about it:1. At 40 oz. it's larger than any of my other insulated water bottles, most of which hold a liter or less2. The insulation works GREAT! Even at the end of the day, while it sat out in the sun for hours, there's still ice in my drink.3. it comes with two tops - one with an integrated straw so I don't have to tip it to drink from it, and another for hot liquids that closes like an insulated coffee mug.4. The tops screw on, rather than just pressing on, so even if it gets knocked over, nothing is going to spill.5. The base is narrow so it fits perfectly into my car's cup holder, so it's also great for long drives. Most of my insulated water bottles are too wide at the bottom to fit into cup holders, so this really is a huge plus. Note that this does make it a bit top heavy, but I'll take that over not being able to fit into my car's cup holder.I looked at a variety of tumblers out there, some of which were a little less expensive than this one, many of which were quite a bit more expensive. None of the higher priced tumblers appeared to offer any better quality or functionality than this one. And the less expensive ones looked cheaply made, whereas this one is clearly well made and high quality. So I think this tumbler is an excellent value.

Sturdy Tumbler Keeps Water Cold
This is a really nice 40 oz tumbler. The stainless steel feels sturdy, and the exterior finish is smooth and well done. The lid opens and closes easily, and it’s simple to clean. It has a tight seal and does not leak. It keeps my water cold for hours, which is exactly what I was hoping for. The handle makes it easy to carry, especially when it’s full. The only small downside is that the top is wider than the base, which can make it slightly easier to tip if it’s bumped into. Aside from that, it’s a well-made tumbler that performs well and looks great. I’m very happy with it.

Did not perform as well as claimed, but this is a solid tumbler.
I requested and received (but will pay income tax on this item) this insulated 40-ounce tumbler in Casbah Night color. This tumbler came with two different lids and also included two straws. The lids are screw-on types. One lid with the flip-up straw truly is leak-proof. The other lid works nicely with my extra-long stainless steel straws. I do not plan to use the included plastic straw, so I cannot address much about it other than it too short for the total height of the container. One of the product photos states that an “aluminum” straw is also included, and I also did receive one with the tumbler. If the straw is, in fact, an aluminum straw, I won’t be using it and will not address anything about it other than it looks identical to my stainless steel straw in my review photos.Now for the nitty-gritty stuff. This tumbler is, in fact, sweat-free. I have only handwashed the tumbler and prefer to not risk washing in the dishwasher, so I cannot verify that it is dishwasher safe. Not sure what “perfect temp all day” means (stated in one of the product photos), but I found my coffee to be cold after a little over two hours.This tumbler is claimed (on the box and in product photos) to keep liquids cold for 16 hours and liquids hot for 12 hours. After testing this out, I believe these claims are relatively valid contingent on the volume of liquid in the tumbler. The higher the volume of liquid, the longer the temps were sustained. The lower the volume of liquid, I did not find the claims regarding retained heat to hold true at all. I made coffee at approximately 6:15 in the morning, placed said boiling-hot coffee in the tumbler, added boiling-hot frothed cream into the coffee, and screwed on the lid with the silicone-lined hole for a straw. By 8:45 am, after slowly consuming coffee through a stainless steel straw, the remaining one-third of the liquid was cold.That being said, as an experiment, I boiled water and poured a large volume into the tumbler and placed the lid with the built-in straw onto the tumbler. Temps were taken at various intervals throughout the day. At 11:11 am, water temp was 205 F. At 12:37 pm, temp was 177.8 F. At 3:50 pm, temp was at 144 F. At 6:03 pm, temp was at 129.3 F. With a large volume of liquid, this tumbler performs well.Second experiment utilized water with four very large butter stick-shaped ice cubes that we use in Yeti cups when a family member works outside on the tractor during the summer. Mind you, this experiment was indoors with an ambient temperature of 66 to 68 F. At 9:29 am, I placed four large ice cubes in the tumbler with water. I also tested the claims of the lid being leak-proof, and the built-in straw lid did not leak a single drop when the tumbler was held upside down over and over. By 2:04 pm, the ice had melted more than I anticipated it would, so I believe our similarly-sized Yeti cups outperform this tumbler in that arena. By evening, there were four small chunks of ice in the water, but I failed to photograph those ice chunks. And I only add this because the “About this Item” section states it will keep drinks ice-cold for up to 24 hours, I found that by the next morning, so not even 24 hours, there was no ice left in the tumbler at all. Suffice it to say, I don’t believe this tumbler will keep my iced drinks super cold as long as is claimed on the box or in the About this Item section if I am working outside all day on the tractor. If used indoors, I believe this tumbler will perform well, as it did in my ice experiment.In case anyone is curious about dimensions of this tumbler, I have included a number of pictures that reflect various dimensions of height, width of the lid section, width of the bottom section, handle size, length of the built-in straw on the lid. I’ll note that the bottom width of this tumbler is three inches and that my measurements were impacted by the use of a tape measure and its small hook on the end, so I started at the 2-inch mark to allow for that.This large tumbler works well in my car’s cupholders. I have used other large insulated containers that were too wide for my car’s cupholders, so I am very happy to see I can use this tumbler and be able to transport hot/cold liquids and utilize the cupholder simultaneously.All the above in mind, I believe this is a well-designed tumbler and a good value at the current price of 22.99 on 1-21-26, but my experience showed that it does not entirely live up to the claims made on the box and in the product description. As such, I am giving this tumbler four stars.

Convenient Tumbler with Two Lid Options
I’ve been using this tumbler regularly, and it’s very convenient. The leakproof flip-top lid works well, and it’s the one I use most often. I also like that there is another lid option, which is useful, and I switch between them depending on how I’m using the tumbler. With the flip-top lid, I can carry it in my bag or car without worrying too much about water spilling. The insulation keeps drinks hot for hours and cold most of the day. Good quality stainless steel cup!
I purchased this 40oz stainless steel cup for my husband to take to work, and it has exceeded our expectations.
