Leak Proof, and stays hot better than my previous brand. (Cupture 16 oz Gunmetal Gray.)
I almost wrote a sad review and only 4 stars because it drippeda little, I wanted leak proof.I investigated a little further than snugging and cranking on thelid, I looked at the seal lol, it was slightly folded over, I straightened itout and then it sealed really well. The seal has a permanent crease in it, I wouldhope the co would send me another seal, but I won't bother them for it.I did a test with a 'Dollar Store' $5 mug that I've really enjoyed, and itkept coffee about 15 to 20 degrees hotter after a about an hour.Funny thing is , the cheaper tumbler was hot on the outside the entiretime while this Tumbler stayed with the ambient temp which madeit slightly cold to the touch on the outside, so obviously the cheapertumbler it wasn't insulating very well lol.Check your seal!!! If you see a leak.I tapped the sipper vent shut by taping the two rings together, I neveruse a sipper, I just unscrew the lid, take it completely off to drink , likea thermos.I bought this cause, I liked the look, and the size, bigger would nothave worked, nor smaller, it's just right.I wish they would also make this tumbler with a lid that has NO SIPPER VENT,that shouldn't be too much trouble, and would make my life easier.Last point; A lot of tumblers are not comfy to sip out of with lid off, this oneis perfect, as the rim is rounded off very nicely.

Best coffee mug I've found!
This is the best leakproof design for a travel mug! The inside is very easy to clean as the lid comes apart quickly without complicated levers or springs. The seals push against the inside of the lid so nothing comes out even under pressure. Lid screws tightly onto cup with silicone seals on every lip.I commute a lot by motorcycle so I needed a cup that can handle some rough transport in a bag, I tested the seal by putting soda in the cup and shaking it up, and it held pressure like a soda bottle! Have been using for over a month now and not a drop of leak.

Great mug, horrible lid!!
I love this mug!!! Even after an 8hr shift my coffee is so warm, but I hate the lid!! To drink, the lid top turns open. Even thought you can pull apart the inside of the lid to wash it, the vet thin top layer that turns does not come off & it traps old liquid under it. You get a drink of soapy dishwater with your coffee. I've even let it sit all weekend to dry & then got a drink of mildew tasting coffee in every drink. Its to bad the lid can't be properly cleaned or dry because the mug part is phenomenal. I'm now looking for a better lid replacement.

I haven't even had this cup 7 months and it went in the garbage yesterday. It seemed like it was a constant struggle trying to clean it and keep it from leaking. When cleaning the lid, it comes apart so it can be cleaned. When you put it back together, sometimes it goes on correctly and sometimes it doesn't. Every single time that I filled this, I had to tip it to make sure it didn't leak. Also, the twist-lid don't come off and it's impossible to clean under it. I would soak it in vinegar and/or soapy water to try to make sure there was no bacteria underneath it. It took a while to rinse it though, as the liquid stayed under the top. I did like this cup, and it did keep my tea warm for a while but the leaking and trying to clean the lid was too much. It definitely needs some improvements.

At first, I thought this will be my new favorite tumbler. The specs are promising, but it doesn't deliver at all:1. It doesn't keep liquids cold for more than 1 hour 2 tops. Where my Contigo keeps the ice from my ice coffee As ice for 3-4 hours, this manged only an hour on a good day.2. The lid can be taken apart to completely clean it, which is good - but the area between the top swiveling part and the base of the lid traps water which cannot be dried completely. Also, there are small silicone parts to seal the lead that can be removed, or in my case - fall during cleaning never to be found again (so I have no leak proof lid).I use it today as an isulating cup for coffee or other drinks, without the lid. If you want a tumbler - look elswhere
