Works so much easier than trying to cut equal slices. Sturdy design. Edges are not sharpened, but can cut your fingers when washing. I recommend washing immediately , it's easier before stuff gets dried on.
Love these pie cutters. Every slice is a uniform size. They easily cut through the pie, but the edges must be finished with a knife. They are easy to clean in the dishwasher; if hand washing, a small brush would be required to clean the center. I would definite but them again.
I resisted purchasing one of these for a long time and I can't cut even pieces of pie (or cake) to save my life. This makes it so easy and the slices of pie are nice and even. I'm no longer embarrassed by how terrible I cut a pie. Be careful, it is kind of sharp. I highly recommend.
These look amazing, however, we received a six pie spice and a seven pie slice. We’re all little bit baffled on how this happened considering that’s not even a listing 😅 I’m hoping to get it replaced
Sharp, easy to use and just put in dishwasher to clean. Wish I had this year's ago!
Theses cutters are terrible when used on any pie topped with crust or meringue - that includes quite a lot of pies. The blades do not slice the crusts. They just crush them almost to the bottom of the tins, then you have to use a knife to slice the pieces cleanly through, and the middles of the pieces are so mashed you have trouble lifting a complete wedge out. They’re pretty poor with just bottom crust pies like pumpkin and custard. I haven’t found a bakery yet that makes pies without crusts, so this review might be incomplete.
I used the 8 slices pie slicer on my 2 layer birthday cake. It sliced through the cake like a charm. I got 8 perfect uniform slices with no snags or tears. I would definitely recommend this product to those perfectionist out there who like everything symmetrical. I will use the 6 slice pie slice in a couple days on thanksgiving pumpkin pie.
