BEST KNIFE EVER
This is my favorite knife for chopping. It has some weight to it which feels great in my hand. It’s very sharp, it slices through everything. Very good quality knife. I can’t say enough good things about it. Did you notice the price? Totally worth every penny I spent. I want all their knives!

Quality - if you like a nice handle and sharp edge this is the knife
This is a quality product! The wood of the handle is so smooth you might think it is plastic, the wood is highly polished. The knife is heavier than you might expect but fits perfectly in your hand. Chopping is easy the knife has a razor edge, chopping carrots is like slicing butter. I'm saving for a set.

Overall, a good knife with a few small issues
Overall, I give this knife a 93% effective rate. 93% of this knife's points are just that - on point. But 7% of the knife has flaws that should be looked at. I will explain my reasoning below, but this knife is a good quality knife for the money with just a few design flaws, for my opinion, they can address in future product releases. What I dislike about the knife - how it failed:1. Unbalanced.2. Sharpness, or lack thereof.3. Handle options. So, the reasons these 3 are "dislikes" or failures are as follows... the first thing I noticed about the knife when I took it out of its packaging - which was quite nice, by the way - was the weight. Unfortunately, when I put it across my palm, the handle side was very heavy - more than I had anticipated, but not alarmingly so - and the blade was so much lighter that it lifted up off my palm. Just slightly, mind you, but enough that it was very noticeable. When I went to chop some potatoes up for home-fries (little diced squares), the weight of the handle was so pronounced when held in my hand as it should be for use, that it was uncomfortable and worried me thst the blade would have issues cutting because the heavy handle pulled the blade up in the air... where it can't cut. The weight of the blade should be either even with the heaviness of the handle or just a little heavier than the handle. But I needn't have worried. After a few chops, it got more comfortable and I simply maneuvered my index finger over the top of the blade to lend it a little pressure from my hand and the knife now works fine. In future designs though, this flaw should be fixed, addressed. The sharpness of the blade - directly out of its packaging - should have been exceptional in my opinion, especially considering that it doesn't come with a sharpening tool. However, while it's sharpness was satisfactory - meaning it was adequate, it cut through the potato - it was not as sharp as it should have been. I will have to sharpen it myself, before I use it again. The product's instruction manual even says thst the knife should pass the "paper test", which is where you hold up a piece of paper by two fingers in the air and the knife should then slice right through the paper. The knife delivered to me did not pass this at all. It hesitated and I had the hold the paper with two hands while somebody else actually cut it, and even.then, it took a few tries to slice through it. So I was disappointed with the dullness of the knife. It still cut up the potatoes just fine... but it took mire effort than I had anticipated because it wasn't sharp. It will be, but I'd hoped to avoid having to sharpen it when it just came out of the box...And finally, just a design suggestion. I like the handle being heavy. It's a bit too heavy, or the blade is too light, but it's ok. I'll adjust to it's weight. But the handle itself... it would have been nice - as this isn't part of a set but just a lone piece of cutlery - to have had more design options for the handle than just blue with gold nails or whatever was used to pilot the handle together. It's a deep navy blue. It would have been nice to get black or green or purple... or maybe even flames or a charcoal pit or some kind of graphic...nor even the blade itself...Overall, it's a good knife, with good looks and a certain level of comfortable. Just be prepared to sharpen it yourself before using, and be ready to hold it differently because of the heaviness of the handle versus the lightness of the blade. Heavier knives help my hands - I have several health issues that cause swelling, pain, tremors or shakes, losing my grip on items, and muscle spasms. So it's nice to get a little better knife than the one I had been using. It is overall comfy. It helps my grip with the heaviness. And it really dies cut well and makes quick work of what I'm chopping. I just need to sharpen it before using it again. That's my review. 93%.

We are pleased with this knife!
We bought this knife to replace our 5" stainless blade Ginsu that we had for decades. The Ginsu took a lot of wear and tear and broke one day. After a bit of research, we decided to try this knife. We are pleased with the weight of the knife, the handle is comfortably shaped, and the blade is sharp! There is a tiny bit of curve / rock in the blade, so it is not entirely flat to the cutting surface, which is helpful. The knife fits my smaller hand and my husband's larger hand comfortably. The knife seems to be of decent quality for the price. No complaints, so far!
