Works great! Love the handle!
LIHOOOOM Stainless Steel Cutting Borad, Stainless Steel and Wheat Straw Polypropolene Double Sided Food Grade Cutting Boards for Kitchen, 13.4 X 9 inch, Dishwasher Safe. Full disclosure: I hate cooking, and do it as rarely as possible. So, I’m definitely no expert on cutting boards. Having said that, I really like this one. I had been hearing a lot about how bad plastic ones are supposed to be because we’re ingesting too much microplastic, and about how wooden ones are bad because of bacteria. I have no idea if that’s actually true, or just more of the usual fearmongering that keeps us all terrified and buying new stuff. But, I figured, why not? First, I love the handle on it. Makes it much easier to carry and clean (and hang!), and that’s helpful when your dexterity is getting a little tricky. The other thing I like is the little bristly bit for grinding garlic, I think? It’s also a nice spot to park slippery fruit and veg. Yes, the cuts show up pretty fast on the straw side, but I see no difference between that and my regular cutting boards. The one thing I really wondered about, before trying it, is whether there would be a chilling sound from the knife cutting against metal. I was worried it would be like nails on a chalkboard, but thankfully, that is not the case. It’s fine! The price seems reasonable, especially if it saves you from getting ill. I would order again.

Light duty cutting board
This is the first "straw" cutting board I have owned and I am not super impressed with the functionality but also not surprised...it is a straw cutting board after all. Apparently it is a mixture of wheat straw and polypropylene (plastic). The board is not very rigid, but the stainless steel side does give it enough structure. Since this is double sided it is supported by the edges so the unsupported center will have some give as you cut on it.I'm torn because it seems to be at 2 extreme ends with the stainless side that is easy to keep sterile but will absolutely dull your knives in no time vs the straw/plastic side that is very soft and gets cut up very quickly but very friendly on your blades. I am surprised at how quickly the plastic side started to show wear/cut marks.I guess the question you need to ask yourself is whether you would rather have micro plastics coming off as you cut on the "straw" side or if you rather dull your knives cutting on stainless steel? Or...stay with me here...would you rather just use a normal hardwood cutting board? I am going to stick with hardwood cutting boards and this will be used for our camp kitchen since it is small, lightweight, and perfectly fine for occasional use. I hope this helps add some context to your cutting board purchasing decision.

Very nice no-skid cutting board!
This is a very nice cutting board. The grinding area is very nice. I really like the wraparound grip edge for extra stability. After a few uses I noticed some cuts on the composite side but I'm still concerned that the metal side won't dull my knives.

Nice dual sided board with built in handle - professional stainless steel surface
Stainless Steel Cutting Board,Stainless Steel and Wheat Straw pp Double Sided Food Grade Cutting Boards for Kitchen,Easy to Clean 13.4 X 9 inch,Dishwasher SafeI find this a great addition to a well stocked kitchen as it solves the problem of contamination from both wood cutting boards and also the dangers of cutting meat on plastic surfaces (my previous solution). The stainless steel will not hold onto bacteria from uncooked meat, is easy to clean (hot water /bleach) and the same surface used in professional kitchens, I will be primarily using this for uncooked chicken, fish and chopping stew meats as once cooked can use traditional teak or wood boards. Note stainless steel can dull knives quicker so another reason to reserve for uncooked meats only and to prevent any cross contamination. The board itselfI is lightweight with a built in handle and slides easily into my cutting board rack, It also has a reverse side you can use for fruits and vegetables. I like the compact size and pictured it with a chef’s knife for scale as should fit most needs of home cooks, if you buy large filets of beef may not be long enough so note size. Highly recommend when your family’s safety and health and important to you and ditch those questionable plastic cutting sheets. The price of 29.99 at time of review seems comparable to other product offerings.

Nice cutting board for light use
I've used this cutting board a handful of times now. I don't enjoy cooking so I'm not putting it through any heavy use, just normal chopping of veggies and meat. I am cooking meals for one or two people, so the size of the cutting board works well for me. I like the handle and the cutting board is easy to clean. I haven't used the metal side yet because I don't want to dull my knife blades by cutting on that side, but the metal side would be good for having a highly cleanable surface for seasoning meat. The channel around the cutting board prevents fluids from getting all over the counter. I also really like the anti-slip edges.
